It seems like the owner is changed. Mapo Tofu looks like it is made by children. The other foods that I often ordered have different ingredients. Disappointing. Compare these photos with my previous photos and you will notice a big difference.

Not exaggerating when I say the best restaurant option for Chinese food in Bryn Mawr. The staff is superb and the food quality is very good. Good flavors at a reasonable price. Usually order from their Dinner Combo Plate or Lunch Box, which have a range of great options and portions.

Good food. Not great food but it is consistently good. Most of us are good but how many of us are consistently great? Or even consistently good? In Pin Wei's favor then, they are better than most of us, and we're pretty okay, right? They also consistently deliver and they NEVER send me sesame chicken when I order general taos chicken. I accidentally took a nap at an inconvenient time, waking up at 9:00-ish at night. I felt crappy and just could not deal with my grownup responsibilities which included preparing healthy food (making dinner). The spoiled me wanted great food but after 10 minutes of searching for great food delivery, finding NO option, my reality kicked in. If I wanted ANY food delivery, I needed to hurry up and find a restaurant that would still deliver food. I had gotten delivery from Pin Wei before and there was no time to be picky. When I received my food, I was so very grateful, and it was good food! Ever since, they have been on my "go to" list. Even better, Pin Wei does not price gouge so my laziness is not followed by guilt. They ARE worth a try.

For what you are getting it's a good place. This is take out Chinese food and honestly in the area it's the best and most consistent we have found. They are usually pretty quick with delivery which is always a nice bonus.

The twice cooked pork is fire, the general tso’s tofu is fire, the dumplings in chili oil is FIRE, the black bean chicken is pretty good. Nice little takeaway place. The szechuan menu is amazing, better than the americanized menu (which is still very good). The food isn’t too salty either (if you’re used to salty fried rice it might take time to get used to) but you could add salt if you absolutely needed it

No longer in KOP. Now just a take out. Menu now more tailored to an Americanized Chinese food audience. Ok. Orange beef still pretty good. Food overall competently prepared. However, do NOT get the Boba. Tea tastes fine but the beads are likely fake. Clearly not real tapioca. Too perfectly round and rubbery, almost like tires. Tastes synthetic. Interestingly, owner may not be same as before in KOP but I swear lady taking my order was same woman who waitressed me many times when we dined in years ago. So maybe some continuity, good or bad ...

Pin Wei has been our go to Chinese food restaurant for years. Their food is delicious, well priced and always comes in good portions. Their customer service is fantastic too. They’re always friendly when we pick up food and I don’t think their delivery has ever arrived past 30 min of pressing submit. They’re also just really good people. We ordered delivery last night and they arrived when I was carrying my sleeping infant son. Recognizing I had my hands full, the delivery man worked with me to quietly get a hold of the food and gently shut the door for me after giving a wave and a smile. They’re the kind of local restaurant we love to give business to!
