The food just...didn't taste good. The meatballs were great, the flatbread and caesar salad were barely edible. It wasn't great
The food at Sontuosa was very good, nicely prepared and portioned. However, everything I read about this restaurant and heard from friends indicated it was a BYOB. When we got there and we're told it a $20 cordage for each bottle of wine, we were stunned. Then you're really not a BYOB. Also, I had noticed on the menu that there was a charge for bread. After our waitress took our order she asked if we would you like bread for the table not saying that there was gonna be a charge for it I think if you're gonna charge for it and you're asking us if we want it then you should tell us that there's an additional charge. However, these were my things they did impact my overall impression of the restaurant.
Leaving a review as a former employee... was promised bartender training and started as a server. I did not get my last pay bc of an error with the system. The check was paid for but a duplicate was left on there. They also do not give an hourly wage. iLLEGAL!!!
We had an excellent experience at Santuosa restaurant. The food was outstanding. The bone marrow appetizer was so very good. Service was great. the only negative is though it's a BYOB restaurant they now serve alcohol which I didn't know so there is a cork fee of $20.00 a bottle. I didn't see that information anywhere on their website. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Sontousa is consistently delicious. Ernesto puts a lot of thought, creativity and incredible flavors into his food!! Even when you do take out!!

Most delicious meal I've had in a long time. Many specials to choose from but we went with the branzino and lasagna off of the menu. Absolute perfection. Can't wait to go back. The owner Ernesto was lovely.
Excellent excellent flatbread with very chill staff and an excellent atmosphere. Totally great place to sit down and have a meal.

The information on the OpenTable profile is wrong, They no longer accept AMEX and Discover, they charge a fee for Credit card use, they are not BYOB and charge $20 cork fee if you do bring wine. My dining companions were happy with their meals, the Crispy Salad was good. I ordered the Paella, which at $36.00 was one of the more expensive items on the menu. I was very underwhelmed. there were quite a few mussels, but only a few shrimp, two clams and some white overcooked meat that may have been fish? Certainly not worth what it cost. They also charge $6 for a small basket of bread. The chocolate cake was not worth the cost either. Very disappointed considering the expense.
Eh.. wanted to like this place but it fell short. For appetizers we got a Mexican street corn dip which was very good. We got mussels and when I tell you that when they brought them to our table, a waft of pungent, foul seafood smell hit. Despite that, I tried a few of them. They were inedible. My husband agreed. Even the sauce they were in was tainted in this gross flavor. When the owner (who was extremely nice) came over and asked how things were, I was honest and said there was something off with them. I said he didn’t need to take them off the bill necessarily, but we couldn’t eat them. (I don’t think I have ever done that at a restaurant, so this is not a normal occurrence for me). Our pasta dishes were OK, good but not amazing. When we got our bill, the mussels were still on there and nothing was comp’d. I feel like something should have been done to compensate for the potentially spoiled mussels we were served (maybe a free dessert or drink?). The visit left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively. It’s a cute spot with decent food at best, but overpriced and lacks attention to customer satisfaction and service. I also am concerned about their standards for the freshness of their food.

Overall this place is fine, but there are lots of better restaurants in the area. The food is decent and fairly priced. The service was fair. Their desserts aren’t made onsite and are nothing special. My biggest issue is they advertise themselves as a BYOB and have a corkage fee. Not only does that make no sense, but $20 a bottle is more than steakhouses charge.

Omg....how is this place still an unknown? A diverse selection on the menu and you have to have their Branzino. Plenty of free parking for Dinner

Sontuosa is a special place. The food is magnificent and the service is like you were in your own dining room. Still BYOB but they now have a liquor license so that will probably change soon. Try it for excellent food.

Excellent service, perfectly cooked salmon to die for with broccoli rabe. We'll be back. We ate inside because of the heat but I've eaten outside too. Both tables were great.
