Bagels had just come out...warm, light, and in one word...yummy. Quite a popular spot. I've waited 20 mins in line to order though they have a kiosk in the shop to bypass the human line. Probably best to call ahead/ order online. Totally worth it.
I love this place. Typically, the food is great. Brisket, Pastrami and Corned Beef are almost outstanding. Unfortunately, this last time, the Pastrami was fatty and seemed to be leftover cuts. Disappointing but I will be back. This place is worth it.
We had the free-bird sandwich and the fixx. Everything is customizable. The challah and sourdough breads were incredibly fresh and soft. Chicken for the free-bird as well as the bacon and eggs for the fixx were cooked perfectly. Fresh lettuce and tomato for mine. I had to take some of the pickled jalapeños off the free-bird but that’s because of personal preference not because they weren’t good (and you can leave them off entirely if preferred).
