If you are looking for something different and delicious, give White House Tajine a try. You will not find a sophisticated fine dining experience, but you'll find a plate full of yummy. I had the Shrimp Tajine. It came out literally bubbling with goodness. The shrimp themselves were enormous. My companions had the Lamb Shank... equally good. Although they reported it to be a bit less spicy than they were anticipating. The only challenge was with getting us to our table. While we had a reservation, it felt as if we created a problem for them to solve. This was in sharp contrast to the warm and welcoming hospitality we experienced at the end of the meal - creating some conflict in my perception of the evening. We look forward to returning for the meal was truly a treat.

This restaurant was amazing, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect and accurate, The food was top notch, and the server was down to earth and felt human. The only thing I could see improve is the presentation of the menu, and serving the initial water in glass. However, that's just being nit picky. Would go here again, I'm sad I didn't try the hummus

we were in the area and looked up restaurants on Open Table and so happy we found White House Tajin. it is the REAL DEAL Turkish restaurant owned and run by a Turkish family. Every course was so yummy and fresh with lovely flavors. and the server, Amar was so helpful and informative. we'll be back for sure

I really wanted to support a small business, so I gave this restaurant a try—twice. My first visit was in May, and although I felt unwell after the meal, I didn’t immediately associate it with the food from the restaurant. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I returned about three weeks ago for a second try. Unfortunately, both experiences were disappointing.
The prices are quite high for the quality, and both times I left with an upset stomach. On my second visit, I also noticed troubling hygiene concerns: a cat was walking in and out of the kitchen, and the kitchen area visible from where I was sitting appeared unclean. While seated, I saw someone holding the cat and then going directly into the kitchen. This raises serious sanitation issues—animals simply shouldn’t be anywhere near food prep areas.
Service was another letdown. One staff member in particular was inattentive and rude, never checking in with us or even offering water.
I can’t recommend this restaurant based on my experience. It’s pricey, unsanitary, and left me feeling sick both times. I’d suggest choosing a cleaner, more welcoming spot instead.
I miss this place so much I was so sad that they were closed from June 9th to June 29th. They are open today I am so happy!

This place was an exceptional find. We were unsure of the food, but we all liked Middle Eastern/Mediterranean style food, so we gave it a try and we were not in the least disappointed. The service was a bit slow going, but its a family style run restaurant and this is normal! The owner, Amy was very hospitable and charming to all of her diners. She surprised my cousin by bringing an ice cream birthday cake and it was an even better dinner experience of Amy's kind gesture! She and her brother made it especially nice for us all as we were celebrating being together after many years! Thank you Amy and we will come back before we leave for Albuq.NM. YOU ARE A TRUE GEM AND YOU KNOW WHAT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS. Many blessings and stay healthy.
