4.30.25 6:30 PM, we have a lovely dinner outside, a perfect day and Karen S. was our server and she was very nice. She brought the food out quite quickly and made some suggestions to help us and their phone number ends in 77777... Couldn't get a luckier place. But we noticed a bit of a change in quality. My friend had the Asada fajitas and said that it was all peppers and no other flavors and very thin meat and they didn't like it. We also had the tacos with shrimp and it was mostly onions and the raw onions were unpleasant . We also had ceviche with shrimp and the shrimp were very few and again loaded with raw onions and tomatoes and tasted funky. We had to throw most of the onions and tomatoes away so basically I might've eaten a handful of shrimp between the two dishes. That was disappointing for $73! But the best part was Horchata. The rice drinks are very good. Hoping for the return of Carlos, and the return of quality...

Consistently good food, good service and the prices are reasonable. We will be back - soon!

Drink was good. Didn't have to wait when we went to the desk. Parking was very limited. Were asked if we wanted more chips, but not told we would be charged. Were given more chips without sauce to dip them in, even though we were out of any. Carnitas burrito was fairly plain and no sides unless ordered apparently.

This is one of the few places left that you can still have a drink or two with your food and not regret it when the bill comes. Honest food, not spectacular but super clean and consistent. Super friendly service. I recommend!

We had a great dinner at Xolos last night, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food and drinks were excellent. Highly recommend the top notch ceviche, guacamole and chips as appetizers, and enchiladas, skirt steak platter and fish tacos for dinner. The margaritas are also amazing. This is a favorite spot for us!

We tried Xolo Taco again after having a mediocre experience five years ago. Sadly we were reminded of why we haven't been back in five years. Ambience, decor and service were fine, but the food was (again) a real disappointment. Bland and flavorless rice, red salsa that tasted exactly like tomato soup (the green was OK), and shrimp quesadillas with hardly a trace of chopped up shrimp were a strange and unsettling combination. The food just isn't reminiscent of Mexican cuisine. Avoid.

Maybe a little quicker on refreshing the drinks but great local spot that feels like a family restaurant.

Fantastic food and great staff! The owner is there quite often and will make you feel as though you've come to his home. Yes it's that kind of place. Just go, you will be so very glad you did!

The owner put both hands on my wife’s shoulders while standing behind her chair and boasting that his native language was closer to hers than mine. She told me later that it was weird and unsettling but opted not to pursue it further because she already felt too embarrassed. How could inauthentic Mexican food crafted to dupe bubble-dwelling Main Liners be worth such cheap, creepy chauvinism? The guy has serious issues, on top of his inability to provide a well-trained, attentive staff and of course the burnt tacos. Zero stars if that were an option.

So, my mom and I went for Happy hour, we love a good happy hour. We have been here a few times and really liked them. However, this last time, we both ordered margaritas ( which were usually pretty good, but this time was poured out of pre-made bottle. We then ordered mushroom sopas to that were listed as $7:50 per order. They used to be amazing. Both of us were disappointed. We didn't even eat half of them. We didn't complain, but when we got the bill, we were charged an extra $10 for having the mushrooms on the sopas. Mind you the Happy hour menu says you can either have mushrooms or chorizo on the sopas- we only had mushrooms. The guy waiting on us said that the $7.50 is just for plain sopas, I pointed out that is not what the menu says ... He said go ahead and complain. Others were complaining about the same thing. He blamed the owner. I am pretty sure he is the owner, if not was definitely a manager. If you want another wonderful Mexican place to go I recommend Senoritas, El Limon or Al Pastor. We will not be back. It is a shame because we really did like this place. I posted pictures of the menu and the bill.

My wife and I stopped here after my daughters soccer game. We like to try new places when away from home. From the outside, Xolo looked really nice. They had an outside section as well that was also very nice. Parking is limited. Walking inside, it was cute as well. The guy at the front desk was awesome. He was a really nice guy, and made sure we had everything we needed.

My wife liked the margaritas. She said they were "light" and tasted good. They were not overpowering in regards to being sweet or a weird mix. However, they are going to set you back $12 each and are served in a 1/2 to 3/4 sized glass.

We were served a basket of chips and some green salsa when we first sat down. They were good, but I'm used to regular red salsa.

I ordered the tacos, and they were good. I'm not a fan of corn soft tortillas. I would rather the flour tortillas. Actually, I was expecting hard taco shells, but sometimes I like the surprise of what I get. I guess you could say I prefer the americanized tacos with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, sour cream, and salsa, but here I had chicken with cilantro and that was it. There was a side of their green salsa I had with the chips, but that is definitely not what I wanted to put on my tacos. I would not order them again unless they came with all the sides. At $12 for 3 small soft tacos, I couldn't imagine what it would come to if I asked for all those sides.

My wife ordered the enchiladas. She loves the rice and beans that come with the enchiladas. I'm not sure why she doesn't just order a plate of rice and beans when we go out. Lol... Again, the enchiladas were on corn tortillas and plain with just chicken in them and some red sauce that reminded me of pasta sauce a little.

Like I said earlier, maybe this is the way this food should be, and I'm used to the americanized way with a bunch of toppings. The chicken was tasty, and my wife said it tasted more like dark meat than white chicken meat. All in all, the place is nice, the people are great, but for us, it wasn't the type of Mexican food we were looking to eat.

Food tasted wonderful, as well as drinks. Understaffed as most restaurants are now, the owner Carlos made the experience. Came to the table spoke with us, checked in, resolved issues with lack of staff. Cannot wait to go back again!

Went in for a quick bite in the afternoon. The place was almost empty with maybe one other table occupied. The hostess was pretty rude and the waiter looked like he could care less. Food was ok. Nothing extraordinary. Honestly they have potential but service would need to be improved.
