Online menu sucks.
Quick service, bread so fresh you'll be amazed, and fair pricing. The hoagies are delicious.

Steak Hoagie. Extra Meat. Red Sauce... WOW!
I’ve tried a handful of hoagies around Butler—especially the ones people highly recommend—and honestly, most have been just okay. Decent, but nothing memorable.
Funny enough, Bon Aire caught my eye on Day 1 in Butler—it’s right next to the realtor’s office where we signed the papers for our house. We were busy with all the paperwork that day, so I never stopped in. Over the last eight months, I’ve tried a few other popular spots, but every time, I walked away kinda disappointed.
Today, I happened to be nearby and finally gave Bon Aire a shot!
I ordered a small cheesesteak hoagie. I usually get ranch on the side, so when the woman behind the counter asked if I wanted to skip the usual red steak sauce, I told her to go ahead and put it on the side—I figured I’d at least try it.
Now, I’ve had that Pittsburgh-style red steak sauce before—at Fiori’s and Mineo’s—and to be honest, I didn’t love it. It always felt a little out of place on a steak hoagie.
But this one? You could actually smell the seasoning. The flavor hit different—way better than I expected!
I gave the ranch a try first and it was fine… but then I dipped it in the red sauce. Next level!!! Especially with the extra meat—it just all worked together perfectly.
No question—I’m getting the large next time!

Got an Italian hoagie that had wayyyy too much oregano on it; there had to be at least 2-3 tablespoons of it on there. I like oregano but not that much! Plus, for an Italian hoagie, the meats didn't seem right. Was there bologna on there? And the bread was not that great. I wasn't impressed.

Always good food. Been eating there many, many years.
You're always welcomed with a "hello." Staff are friendly. Service is quick. Prices are reasonable. Food is delicious. Best fried mushrooms! Large fry portions, which are available in 3 sizes. The "regular" hoagie is always a go-to for me. I'm never disappointed when stopping by the Hoagie Shop!

Been getting hogies at the hogie shop since I was in junior high school in town. That was over 50 years ago. Got regular hogies yesterday afternoon, they had no tomatoes, took them home, they're always a great hogie, but this one tasted strange, just not the same, and within a half hour was sick as a dog.

Got a footlong meatball hoagie. Too bad it only had 6 meatballs on it and 5 inches worth of empty bun. Really awesome.....
Love it! Great food! Great prices!
