Twice we went there. First time the hours on Google were wrong and they just quit serving, so we left. Tonight we stopped for dinner only to be informed they are only doing take out and deliver. Which, I guess after I walked in and the smell of damp, musty, hit me - I didn't want to eat there anyways.

I placed my order at 5:15. Yes it was a decent sized order, but still small enough to fit in one bag. I arrived at 6:25 and had to wait an additional 20 minutes just to receive my already paid order… The food is always good so hopefully that remains the same this time.

This is the best Chinese in the area and the buffet is wonderful, they are always very friendly there. People need to quit wasting their money on the other places in Butler and go to China gourmet. They won't regret it!!!

Lo mein and egg rolls always good. General Tso chicken was over cooked and chicken was hard and chewy. Sometimes it's delicious and sometimes we get it and almost inetable.

Terrible service, forgot half my food and took 2 hours to get here when the time said 45 min, would definitely recommend china palace though. There food is 10/10

There must be two cooks or something - some nights, the food is perfectly fine. Other nights, like tonight.... The chicken and broccoli has zero, and i mean ZERO flavor. It is cooked just fine but there is like no brown sauce at all. The general tso's is very mild as well. And that's not the first time this has happened. Very disappointed, gonna look for other places to order from now on.

I'm amazed that there are bad reviews! We LOVED the food and the experience!We contacted China Gourmet about hosting an dinner for us. We had over 30 people there. They put on a dinner buffet just for us! They worked with us on the menu that we wanted.We had the entire restaurant to ourselves.GREAT environment!GREAT service!Great food!My wife and I used to eat there before COVID. We will definitely be eating there more frequently now!
