Interesting and historical coffee and chocolate shop. Coffee drinks were good, a little on the sweeter side. Sorry to say, staff wasn't welcoming. They didn't give a friendly greeting nor did they make an effort to make banter with customers. They seemed annoyed by new comers. Probably won't go back.

Great stop. I nearly past this gem by thinking it was just a candy store. (See outside pic) once in saw the inside craftmanship and aged building al9ngbwith that coffee roaster smell i had a good feeling i would like tgis place. The coffee is smooth and delicious. Best cup of coffee in a long time. Ibalso tried a caremel latte with oat milk whichbwas taisty and smooth. I got a blueberry muffin which was fresh as you can get nice size blueberries and the cake parknwas taisty and light. The seatingbwad comfortable and classy and historic. Just a lovely place. Staff was kind and freindly. I love this place. Boughy 2 pounds of beans to take with me

I'm a sucker for small, locally-owned businesses, and this one is great! I'm not a coffee drinker, but there are lots of options for other drinks and it's the only place I could find within easy walking distance for an ice cream cone. Their partnerships with other local businesses make visiting them a real treat!

Adorable coffee shop. The girl working yesterday (July 9th) was very kind and patient with our older relative who took a while to order and wasn't sure what she wanted. She also made excellent coffees!. I will definitely come back.

Lovely place, truly. The design of it, the history of it..Wonderful. My only complaint regards an employee. Not the store. The one day, I was in line to order, standing in front of the register. A couple came in and were standing off beside me. The employee asked the couple, "how can I help you?" & took their order, while she completely ignored my presence. I could understand if I had already ordered something & I was just standing there. But she was the only one working on the register while the other girl made the orders, and I had not made any orders for myself yet. I was just waiting in line, next person up. But she just ignored me & asked the couple what they wanted even though they had just arrived & I had already been waiting to give her my order.

Cummings has been one of my favorite coffee shops forever. They have a really good selection of beverages and delicious chocolates. The atmosphere is original and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a must visit in the area.
