When you get there they have a sign saying "Knickers Cafe". They don't have food like it says in multiple spots on their website. They aren't friendly. Clearly a place for bored men to go so they don't have to be home with their own families and do nothing but drink and "play golf".

My wife, father and I just returned from dinner at Knicker's Tavern. I fully recognize this is not a 5 star restaurant and to expect a gourmet meal so I adjust my expectations accordingly. But our experience was beyond horrendous!!! We arrived at 5 and placed our order about 5:10. It then took a full hour to receive our meal despite the restaurant being less than 1/2 full. My wife's strip steak, ordered medium, was still raw in the middle and had to be sent back. Her vegetables were soggy and flavorless. My father and I ordered the prime rib medium rare. For both of us, it came out medium to medium well without a speck of anything close to red. To top it off, it was barely above room temperature. Even the coffee was barely warm. Both the waitress and manager were very apologetic. My father had received a gift certificate for his birthday for 2 dinners from St. Barnabas where he is a resident. The manager did not charge us for any of our meals and told my father to save the certificate and come back another time. Sadly, I don't know why we would bother.
