I do like the food and the prices. It's not your topical suit down restaurant. It's more like a cross between buffet and self serve. They do bring your food to the table and when you wave someone over they are happy to help however they can. It has a home feel to it. So far we've been pleased with every visit and we will definitely be back.

Dietary restrictions: They do serve gluten free bread for toast or French toast.

I was in Butler, PA early in the morning & was in need of a good breakfast. I stumbled upon Mac’s Route 8 Cafe. I pulled into the parking lot and noticed it was to busy. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the hostess. I told her I was a first timer, she quickly went over how things are done there. We picked this place on a whim in our travels for the day. We were not disappointed. He had the country fried steak. They use sausage gravy on it instead of just white gravy and it was soooo good. I had the grilled chicken salad. Everything was super fresh. Everyone we talked to was awesome as well. We will definitely be back.
