Updating my review from about a year ago,The ice cream here is great, and the people are very friendly. But the wait time is insane. I've gone here a few times this summer and only got ice cream once because of the long wait. One time I waited in line 30 minutes, and there were only four people ahead of me, and only one of them was served by the time I decided to leave. But what really puts the cherry on top for me, is looking at all of the recent comments and reviews with the same complaints, and the owner trying to justify it instead of taking it as legitimate feedback as to how to improve the business.

To be fair, I’ve only been to Mazzantis one time, and unfortunately it was my last time. I am all about supporting local small businesses, but when you charge nine dollars for a large milkshake, you’ve lost me and my loyalty. I’m in sales and I understand things like costs, overhead, margin, and labor. I’m guessing a large milkshake costs the business owner less than $2.00 to make, and that may be on the high side. I see no justification to charge $9.00 for a milkshake, and if you want to charge more than any other ice cream vendor within 100 miles it should be one helluva good milkshake worth driving 15 minutes for, not thin and runny. They may have good ice cream, but is it really that much better to justify fleecing your customers. Does anyone remember Brusters when they were open? They had a very short run in Butler because they priced themselves right out of business, and at the rate Mazzantis is going they’ll suffer the same fate. Good luck.

Expensive as hell...$9 for a Large strawberry milkshake, wasn't the best milkshake I'd ever had unfortunately but you'll have that, was still good

Delicious coffee and ice cream! The espresso float with Caramel Turtle Praline is a must have. And the service was exceptional.

The ice cream taste like ice milk. Gross there employees are rude. King cones and The Meadows have way better ice cream!

Fantastic ice cream! Best we have had in years.

Great ice cream and other stuff, when they properly staff the place. Just left there a few minutes ago (7-9-23) after a 15 minute wait in which literally zero people got served. Would possibly be more profitable for the place to just not open for the day at that pace. Again, stuff is great but not worth what would have been over an hour wait with how many people were in front of us. Will update when they pay for workers.

Incredible homemade ice cream. The butter pecan is so good that when you've had your first couple spoons you literally stop with the creamy goodness still covering your tongue, and literally say "oh my God this ice cream is good". Be careful if you buy a quart (which you absolutely should!), because it will quickly become habit forming. Did I mention how good their ice cream is?

Probably THE best ice cream I've ever had in my 52 years. I will go back every chance I can.

Waited in line for 2 soft sever's for 25 minutes and I didn't even receive my one cone that I ordered. When asked about it attitude was given. Thanks for valuing your customers. I will take my business down the street to Dairy Queen.
