Never had a bad dish. The refried beans are great but I bet they're the good the first time they're cooked too. I don't understand why they cooked the beans so early in the day that by the time I got there, they needed to be refried. Maybe they should wait and cook the beans around 11am, then the people at lunch could just have beans and the people at dinner would only need them refried. Just a thought, I don't know. The Chipotle chickens pretty good too.

Good Mexican food for its location.... up north. Had good flavor, but bland by southwestern standards. Had to order hot salsa to give it some kick. I imagine it's as good as it gets for this area.

Moving here from another part of the state, there is always a challenge finding new places to eat out. My wife and I were lucky to stumble into Rey Azteca. The food, prices and customer service were incredible. We will be back.

Authentic Mexican Cuisine Surprise in Butler, PA!I was in Butler, PA for business and decided to try Rey Azteca Mexican Restaurant based on a recommendation from my hotel. Nestled in a strip mall, I initially wondered about the quality of the food, but I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere exudes authenticity with its Mexican decor, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. As soon as I sat down, they promptly brought complimentary chips and salsa, a welcoming touch.Starting with a cup of Mexican-style chicken noodle soup, I was impressed by the abundance of shredded chicken, green onions, and cilantro. It was flavorful and comforting, setting the tone for the rest of the meal.Opting for the Vegetarian Fajitas, I was greeted with a sizzling platter overloaded with veggies, accompanied by rice, refried beans, guacamole, lettuce, and sour cream. The portion was so generous that I couldn't finish it all!Service was swift and attentive throughout the meal, adding to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, Rey Azteca exceeded my expectations with its delicious food, authentic atmosphere, and attentive service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant, and I look forward to dining here again during my next visit to Butler.

Just moved to Butler from California and was worried I wouldn't be able to find any decent Mexican food. I can say I am no longer worried. my wife and I love it which is saying a lot because my wife being Mexican is a tough critic. Definitely will be one of our top places to go to dinner.

The place has gone down but up in price! I can't believe they want nearly 18.00 for 3 tacos. The staff seems to have kind of attitude lately. IM done with this place.

I love Rey Azteca. Food tastes fantastic, quick, and great staff. Even when ordering take out you get nice portions. Some places seem to skimp with take out.
