Condition of the course is great for how dry it’s been. Just a few greens need some tlc. Very slow pace of play w no Marshall in sight to push them. I mean the slowest pace ive seen in a while. Mowers have no etiquette at all.

Nice course, isn't burned out like many other courses in the area. The staff is professional, the carts are in good condition. One of the nicer public courses in the area.

Giving the drought we’ve had, and playing multiple courses this year the course conditions were impeccable! Had horrible course management!!!
Scheduled an 8 o’clock tee time for a 4some and 1 person dropped out so we went out as a 3some. Picking the carts up they were full of morning dew/water from the sprinklers. Had to clean them up ourselves. Figuring the little things would go a long way I digress. We tee off and make our way to the green only for the course manager to drive down and yell, “ You have to keep up with the pace of play!” Heading to the 2nd tee box, there was only 1 person w/ a cart behind us. So we tee’d off and waited for him to catch us on the tee box. The guy came over and stated that it was his 2nd time there and had a bad experience the 1st time. The guy also stated he had an 8:50 tee time. Given this one would think the “management “ would pair him with us to “keep the pace of play”!! After he played through there was no one behind us!
The mismanagement of how the course runs and the interactions we had with them made us not even enjoyed the amazing maintained course!
Will not return!

Course was in good condition but the staff are the worst. They don’t know how to manage at all. Sending onesome out then tells us to hurry up after sending that onesome out by himself. Then proceeds to send another onesome out again. Not to mention that the cart was soaking wet and we got a towel throw at us and told to dry it ourselves. Horrible customer service. Never returning here ever again.

Nice course, poor experience. Was told to keep up the pace 10 minutes after teeing off because it “took us too long to get on the green.” Talked to the guy behind us he was a single with a 8:50 tee time. It was 8:10. We let him play through and another single was behind him. Poor management.

Suncrest is a very mature wooded course, to the point that some trees need to be cut back or removed to improve sight lines into holes.
The course also needs to be maintained better in general.
We were one the first groups off on a Sunday, and were rushed off 20 minutes early since all our players were there, and the two tee times before us were not all signed in yet. It was nice to be able to tee off earlier, but to get pushed by the starter to do so quicker was not needed. Also, all the carts were soaking wet, and the starter made no effort to dry any off for any group.
All the tee boxes were littered with broken tees to the point that on some holes you needed to brush them away so you would not stand on them while teeing off.
The fairways were in decent shape except for a few low swampy areas like in front of the 1st green that were roped off due to heavy rain the prior few days. The weather was also likely the cause of a tree down and a large branch blocking a cart path. In addition, we found some old signage from an outing blown down and lying on a tee box.
The greens rolled slow and a couple had dead spots/disease on them.
We saw no workers/mtce on the course at 7am like you do at many courses, and the over all condition of the course was reflective of this.

Hate this course. Doesn't make sense. Too many trees and pace is always slow! I only play because my golf club plays here. I never play outside of them. Not worth it. Stupid set up
