First and last time visiting this place. Thank you to those who recommended The Pourhouse Neighborhood Bar & Grill — it’s actually a nice spot, good food, good service, and absolutely no racism, just how it should be. Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant I’m reviewing here was completely different. I walked in with my husband and my baby in a carrier. When I asked the server for a table, she told me, “Wait a second.” Then a man approached me (not sure if he was the host). At 6 PM, She told us they had no space available. I clarified that we were there for dinner, and She repeated that there was “no space” and no reservations available, not even at the bar. The photos speak for themselves — the restaurant, including the upper section, was nearly empty at that time. Yet, they still recommended we go to another restaurant further down the road. At first I didn’t understand what was happening. This had never happened to us before. We’re from NYC, so I was honestly shocked. My husband just said, “Let’s go to the other place… I told you sometimes it’s like that around here.” That made the situation even clearer. Overall, it was a disgusting experience, and if you’re Hispanic or Latino, please be aware — this may not be a welcoming place.

Wonderful atmosphere, nicely decorated and cozy. Food and dessert was average, usually much better. Cheesecake icy cold, so wasn't yummy. Overall, love the restaurant.

My brother and I took my mother here for her birthday.One of the best meals i've had in a long time.I eat a lot of really good food.So I usually am underwhelmed by a restaurant.But this place was great.The owner came out and spoke with us.It was a real special experience.Definitely try it if you get the chance.

I was staying in the area and came here with a couple of friends for dinner. This place is soo cute! Carol, the owner was so kind. She talked to us, asked us how the meal and everything was. She even gave us homemade butter cookies. Everyone here was so kind and welcoming. Our waitress was spectacular, although I forget her name. Just a phenomenal experience. We got a bottle of wine for the table, and I ordered steak fries, it was delicious, even the side salad was amazing. Thank you for the exceptional experience. Hope to be back soon!

We were looking for a place to get dinner in the Poconos and stumbled upon an absolute gem! The food is outstanding--everything from the fish to the steak to the vegetarian options was a hit. The service was great--everyone was friendly and had great recommendations.
If you're in the Poconos, this is *the* place to get great food and hang out in a cool spot.

We went to Butter for dinner while staying at the nearby Skytop Lodge. The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients and very tasty and flavourful. Mark and his family have created great place for food and atmosphere. We were 9 people and everyone had a fabulous experience. Thank you!

Went to Butter for my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious, the staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was cozy. Everything we had was delicious and was made with care. Had kids with us and they enjoyed as well. Server was even willing to give half portions for kids as there is no kids menu. The ultimate service was them giving my husband a complimentary birthday dessert just from me noting we were celebrating in our OpenTable reservation. Overall excellent in all ways and would definitely return.

If you do not have a broad spectrum taste bud, it is difficult to find something on the menu to meet your needs. The food was good - but not "blow me away" good. I think it is overpriced.
Easily ranks in the top 5 meals I’ve ever had. This place is a gem! Amazing all around from the ambiance to the friendliness of the staff to the food itself. If it were appropriate, I would have licked my plate clean.

My husband and I visited for the first time. It was truly a beautiful, little (Gem) restaurant!! The ambiance was cozy, quirky, sophisticated and extremely comfortable. The food was so delicious. For an appetizer, I had the escargot, yummy!! My husband had a feta jalapeño dip with pita, also Yummy!! I had the fish of the night and my husband had the Lasagna. Also, very delicious!! The staff was above and beyond, very welcoming and super friendly. We will 100%, definitely be returning to see how they decorate for the next season. Just a truly wonderful evening. Thank You🍁🌟🍸🎃

Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Food was incredible. Service was fantastic. We brought our 1.5 year old daughter and the staff was amazing with her. The bed and breakfast looked adorable too and was all decorated for Halloween. Will definitely be back!
