“Love, love, love this place! The question should be what don't I recommend and the answer is NOTHING! We stayed at the b&b so had the opportunity to have several breakfasts, plus we ate dinner here a couple evenings. Mark is a fabulous chef with a grasp of fun and tasty food combinations. Breakfasts offerings were from traditional to comfort to just plain fabulous. The dinner menu is compiled weekly by Mark and it makes you want to eat here several times in order to try the various dishes. On separate occasions we had a couple of the lemon cocktails, the fois Gras appetizer, curry soup, sea bass (phenomenal), lobster pasta, prosciutto flat bread, chop and both desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious! We needed a few more nights in order to sample more of the menu! I highly recommend eating here, and if possible on more than one occasion!”
“Angie was my server and she’s such a good time very sweet and knows how to hold a conversation! The food was amazing too very filling and the place is not too loud!”
“I have been wanting to stop bye and sample their delightful treats and glad I did, bought some cookies and chocolate cupcakes and a crumb cake slice. The baker/owner was attentive to my requests and made a number of suggestions and placed them in a box for me. When you’re looking to treat yourself after a long day or week look no further!! ENJOY!!!!”
“We got a catering order from Nick's and it was awesome! 4 ft Italian sub was delicious. Antipasta had a great presentation and tasted great. The eggplant parm we ordered I never got to try because everyone was going back for more! Nick and staff were personable and friendly as well! I would definitely order from here again. Thank you for supplying us with great food for my birthday party!”
“We stop here on our way home from Mt. Airy and every time we do, the staff is friendly and helpful. Not to mention their delicious cheesecakes! Pumpkin is my favorite and I can't wait until it's back!”
“Absolutely blown away by the food! Probably the best restaurant I’ve visited this far. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and the chocolate cake. They sat us right next to the water, which I loved! We had an amazing view of the sky turning pink as the sun set. Our waiter was also very sweet and ensured that we were taken care of.”
“Honestly needed a actual good seafood place around here. None of that long John's or anything like that.Got some of the catfish and that fish had a nice crunch from the batter and the actual fish just flaked apart. Wonderful flavor. Also enjoying the coleslaw which I'm usually not a fan of.Definitely check this place out! Good food and good vibes!”
“The food was good . Tastes were pretty authentic. The atmosphere was quiet, plain. The services was okay, nothing to brag about, I had to get eye contact of a worker and asked If I could be seated for dune in.. although every worker I've spoken to was nice.I wished they had some sort of music on, it would be better then to be able to hear everyone else conversations around me.Parking: There are plenty of parking”
“BEST place to get a cheesesteak on the mountain (in my opinion)! Not only is Sherry an absolute pleasure to talk to but the food DOES NOT disappoint. My kids love the funnel fries and cheesy bacon ranch fries. The chili cheese fries are a definite go to. I get a cheesesteak loaded (mushrooms, onions and sweet and hot peppers) with mayo and ketchup. Boy is it LOADED and.....OUT OF THIS WORLD. Thank you, Sherry and your crew, for great food!!!!Just a note.....cash only.”
“The staff was very welcoming. She told us what food they were know for, she was definitely right!! Their cheese steak special is delicious, you get half a cheese steak and 6 wings of your choice.”
“If the amount of time we spent here is any indication... we loved it! We spent 2 hours exploring the menu and enjoying our couples' time together. The place is very cozy and intimate. They have a retro, warm, inviting decor with a notable single tapered candle surrounded by a glass chimney on the counter. The kitchen is very small but packed with some fun, top-level, modern equipment. We started with a sage tea, a very berry smoothie, lox, and a ham and cheese croissant sandwich with a side salad. Later, we tried a matcha affigato, blueberry muffin, and a vanilla latte to conclude our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will return! There is a spa and inn attached, which we hope to check out in the future! There are about 6 tables outdoors over two separate areas, which would be fun to relax at when the weather is warmer. They were very friendly and welcoming during our extended stay.”
“Had an amazing dining experience at Perkins. thanks to our waiter, Joan. Exceptional service, warm and attentive without being intrusive. Joan truly went above and beyond, ensuring our evening was special. A big thank you for the outstanding hospitality. Can't wait to return.Kid-friendliness: My daughters love kids menu.”
“Vacationing in Poconos with the family and had a taste for tacos. Googled local places and Zacks popped up. Environment lives up to its name, we loved it. Hostess was welcoming and provided us with info on menu. Order came out timely as orders are made fresh. We ate in car to enjoy food warm but they do provide outdoor seating. WORTH IT!!! The food smelled great and tasted even better. Fresh ingredients, crispy nacos/tacos, hand crafted tortillas, tender seasoned meat (I'm drooling typing this). We highly recommend stopping by if in the area, you will not be disappointed. Cash only, but have ATM there.Kid-friendliness: Our kids are picky but ate all their food.”
“we rolled up with a group of 16 for dine-in near closing time during the grand opening. the staff were courteous, the pizza came out really fast and was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this place!”

“We stopped in here this morning as we are from out of town. Great coffee, omelette and my 5 year old really loved the cream chipped beef. Very cozy atmosphere. We were so glad we stopped in. Keep up the good work! We will be back next month.Kid-friendliness: Great options for kids!!”
“Came here while on vacation with our family and the food was amazing. The staff was extremely inviting and friendly. The atmosphere tops it all off and helps submerse you in the authentic Mexican culture. We will return!!!”
“Very cute little place, very relaxed environment with friendly and very attentive staff. Reasonably priced and casual. Parallel parking in front, lot parking in the back. Will visit again.”
“I came to visit the Poconos area. I'm from brooklyn NY. I consider myself a very tough critic on pizza. I was not expecting good pizza in this area, and I have to say this pizza was spectacular. The fact that I took out my phone, and that I am writing a review is testament enough.Enormous pizza, terrific dough, delicious sauce. I'd give it a Barstool 8.2”
“The prices were incredibly reasonable, the food was good, and the aesthetic is charming. The service was prompt and very friendly. Absolutely recommended, especially if you're hungry and a bit road weary.”
“If you’re tired of the fast food overload in the Pocono mountains and are looking for something home-cooked and fresh- this is your spot! What a nice little surprise. I felt like I was at my grandmas house or an aunt in the Dominican Republic. The rice and beans were fresh and authentic. We also tried the empanadas (chicken and beef) and thoroughly enjoyed them. Great variety of Dominican cuisine. Support local business and try this place out- the amount of food you get for your moneys worth is incredible.”
“Gotten food from here a few times. Pizza is really good, as was the tortellini alfredo. The Alfredo sauce isnt too heavy unlike most places where they make you feel bloated.”
“I can't say enough good things about the service. On vacation, ordered food and my phone died. Couldn't find the delivery driver who waited on me forever. Finally, got to call and they brought the food right back. The lady on the phone was so sweet. The food was yummy. My kids were happy. Couldn't ask for more.”
“Grew up in the poconos and moved to cresco about a year ago was super excited for a new pizza place and this place does not disappoint it is now my #1 go to for ”
“I'm a local and admittedly haven't been here in a while. The service was excellent, food portions just right, and price was reasonable. I'll be back much sooner!”
“CASH ONLY!! There is an ATM inside which as of today charges $3.50/ transaction. Otherwise the food is good and is plentiful. The service is prompt and attentive even when busy. I recommend.”
“Best kept secret in the Poconos...well until now...its true just like is says on the walls...no strangers only friends you haven't met yet...couldn't say it better myself. Love this place. ?”
“Great local spot in the area. The staff is very friendly and the food came out fast. I got the Pittsburg burger which came with crispy fries and we also got pierogis and penne a la vodka. Def good picks, would like to try the rest of the menu!”
“For a local dinner this place is amazing. Inside looks like it was completely renovated recently making everything pop. Plenty of seating and really nice staff. Food is dinner food obviously but still very very good. First time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone that wants a crazy good breakfast or bunch. Price is very reasonable about 10-15$ per person.”
“Such a great little place with great food!! The place was very clean and staff was very friendly. Plus they had the best gluten free bread my wife has ever had. We ate there 3 times in two days while we were in town. Thank you!!Dietary restrictions: gluten free options”
