Overall, atmosphere felt cheaper than I-HOP. Food was a OK. I am comparing to I-HOP because I felt like I rather be in that one. I gave 2 star review on service because our server did not do a good job. We were not even offered to get water or coffee. We had to call the server to get water. No coffee with my breakfast, that was BAD.
One the best brunches I had on vacation for the price point for sure and they have some lunch options too
The buffet was best described as “not bad”. That goes from the price to the service. It’s a fair price for an AYCE breakfast buffet. Lots of savory items to select from: kielbasa & turkey on the carving board, smoked salmon, omelettes, breakfast burritos/tacos, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and more. Along with the pancakes & French toast there was also strupwaffle style waffles and plenty of other pastries.

The Great Karoo Marketplace Buffet offers a pleasant dining experience with friendly service. The restaurant is kid-friendly and features an impressive vegetarian selection. Servers like Annmarie and Christian provide attentive service, making guests feel welcome and valued. The atmosphere is warm and polite, making it a good choice for families and anyone looking for a nice meal.
Recent reviews mention that many families enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet at a reasonable price. The omelet station is especially praised for its fresh, made-to-order omelets and friendly staff. Guests also appreciate being seated in separate rooms, which adds to the comfort, especially for families with kids. The cobbler is highlighted as delicious, and the chia seed and yogurt options are also enjoyed. While the food selection is generally good, some reviewers note that vegetarian options can be limited. Despite some confusion over online and in-restaurant prices, the service remains a strong point, with staff like Annmarie and Christian receiving praise for their professionalism, even during busy times.
