“The buffet was best described as “not bad”. That goes from the price to the service. It’s a fair price for an AYCE breakfast buffet. Lots of savory items to select from: kielbasa & turkey on the carving board, smoked salmon, omelettes, breakfast burritos/tacos, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and more. Along with the pancakes & French toast there was also strupwaffle style waffles and plenty of other pastries.

12yo and younger ate at half the price, which was nice. The service was not very attentive when it came to clearing the plates off the table or coming around to see if a refill of coffee/drinks was desired“

“Been eating here for a couple years now at least. HANDS DOWN BEST OXTAILS WITHIN 90 miles! I eat everywhere- Scranton, Wilkes-barre, Stroudsburg, Allentown, NONE COME EVEN CLOSE. I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. “We have never been disappointed eating at the Lucky 8 Noodle Bar at Mt Airy Casino. Usually get the pan fried pork dumplings and lunch bento box.
Other visits, we had also ordered the beef chow fun (flat noodles).

We ordered F/T's of baked ziti, meatballs, chicken marsala and green beans. I could not believe I had a minimum of 8 guests rave about their meatballs, all asking if I had made them. My sisters both received compliments as well. I heard 'these meatballs are the best I ever had', 'they are fantastic', 'get me the recipe' and 'I hope you don't think I am a pig but I gotta grab some more of these delicious meatballs'. All of the food we ordered was delicious, but I have to say... I am considering ordering a tray of meatballs to freeze in meal sized portions for my husband and I. “We stayed at the Chateau during a winter storm. It was pretty bad out, so we decided to eat at Mountainview. I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was busy. The bartender was also the only waitress. Although she was extremely busy, she was also extremely proficient. Our cups never went empty. We did have to wait longer than expected for our food, but given the circumstances, we understood. Our food was actually very tasty with a nice presentation! I will visit again!“

“I wanted to review on Google because the rating is unfairly low. We went to Log Cabin during our stay at Camelback and it was fantastic. I didn't realize they were just about to close but they sat us and were very attentive. Tabitha was an amazing server and deserves the highest tips. Do not sleep on the crab cake sliders, they are to die for. Everything we had was great and all the staff were extremely friendly and fun. My only issue is we don't live closer!“

“We stopped into Ichiban Steakhouse on 9th Street a little later in the evening and were greeted with nothing but kindness and professionalism. Even though it was late, our waiter was extremely polite, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed. We opted for water, and refills were prompt and attentive throughout the meal.
We started with the boiled dumplings, which were clearly handmade and absolutely delicious. You can taste the freshness, and they’re some of the better dumplings I’ve had in the area. For the entrée, we ordered the chicken with garlic sauce, which came with white rice. This dish has always been a favorite of mine here, and it didn’t disappoint—flavorful, well-balanced, and consistently outstanding.
I asked to substitute fried rice and added an egg roll for an additional $9.95. The fried rice is prepared completely differently than what you find at most Chinese restaurants, and it’s excellent—unique, flavorful, and well worth the upgrade. The egg roll also tasted handmade and was crisp, fresh, and very satisfying.
Overall, the service was great, the staff was genuinely polite, and the bill was very reasonable even with the upcharge. A consistently solid spot with great food and friendly service.“
