Been eating here for a couple years now at least. HANDS DOWN BEST OXTAILS WITHIN 90 miles! I eat everywhere- Scranton, Wilkes-barre, Stroudsburg, Allentown, NONE COME EVEN CLOSE. I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. This place is truly a hidden gem 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. Blessings!
I've been coming for years to this restaurant and the food has always been delicious. I've recently started eating plant based and tried every one of their vegan options..
EVERY OPTION WAS OUTSTANDING. We love it all but my husband and my favorite are the Vegan Teriyaki Chicken and Vegan Curry Chicken.
Everything is authentic, full of flavor and its an enormous portion so don't worry about the price.
This will be my go to each week and I will definitely be ordering...read full review
visited last year and planned our summer vacation solely around being able to come back and eat some of that delicious vegan food 🤤🤤

The restaurant is known for having the best oxtails and rice and peas, which are incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned, falling right off the bone. The rice and peas are light, fluffy, and almost buttery. Customers say these are HANDS DOWN the best oxtails within 90 miles, and none come close. The portions are great and the food tastes amazing. The restaurant also offers awesome vegan food that is kid approved. The vegan chicken lo mein is amazing, with impressive texture and flavor of the seitan chicken. The Jerk Salmon comes with a bed of sliced potatoes and Roti, with a correct flavor profile and a serving size that is just right. The woman behind the counter greets customers with a smile and fills orders with speed and efficiency. While a bit out of the way, the food is well worth the travel time. Customers have been eating here for years and take the 40-minute drive religiously. Caricom Spices Restaurant is a true blessing and a 5-star restaurant across the board.
