“Whether you are heading to the Crossings in Scotrun, PA, the Mt Airy Casino, Great Wolf Lodge, working near or traveling through, Nick’s is a must stop! A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”

“Been eating here for a couple years now at least. HANDS DOWN BEST OXTAILS WITHIN 90 miles! I eat everywhere- Scranton, Wilkes-barre, Stroudsburg, Allentown, NONE COME EVEN CLOSE. I stay in Scranton area and take the 40 min drive for these $35 oxtails RELIGIOUSLY. And they NEVER DISAPPOINT. Portions are great. Food taste amazing. This place is truly a hidden gem 5 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD. Blessings!”

“We had bought the kids a gift certificate for the Great Wolf Lodge for Christmas. We have another indoor waterpark only a couple hours from home that we go to maybe once or every other year. They have always heard about the Great Wolf Lodge but the three we know of is not exactly what we would call close to home. My wife added a dinner and breakfast package to our trip which would be served at Timbers. When we are paying for something, I don’t look at the individual prices per se. I look at everything as a package. Yes this trip was expensive, but it was also not soon to be forgotten. I would not say that the food was five stars dining by any means, but I thought most of what I tried was good and it sufficed. I can see how this would not pay for everyone’s liking, but we thought it was fine. I was worried at first when I read the reviews and it’s not like we could back out of what we had already purchased. We left not disappointed but not blown away. Still not bad for what it is.”

“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! As a bonus they have a late 50s to mid 60s vibe.”

“The buffet was best described as “not bad”. That goes from the price to the service. It’s a fair price for an AYCE breakfast buffet. Lots of savory items to select from: kielbasa & turkey on the carving board, smoked salmon, omelettes, breakfast burritos/tacos, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and more. Along with the pancakes & French toast there was also strupwaffle style waffles and plenty of other pastries.

12yo and younger ate at half the price, which was nice. The service was not very attentive when it came to clearing the plates off the table or coming around to see if a refill of coffee/drinks was desired”
