“We had a fantastic experience at Desaki Hibachi in the Poconos! Our server, Kaden, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. Our chef, Ronald, was incredible — so sweet, funny, and engaging. He really made the whole experience fun while cooking everything perfectly.

Highly recommend the vegetable spring rolls — they were delicious — and the filet was tender and cooked perfectly.

“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! As a bonus they have a late 50s to mid 60s vibe.”

I want to thank Christian for being so kind to my mom and going above and beyond! The food was decent. Cobbler was delicious. But the service we received from him was nothing short of perfect. A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”
