“We ate outside- the table was quickly cleaned so we could sit. Service was quick and very hospitable. Wings were amazing! And I need more of that Mac and cheese! Broccoli slaw was not what I was expecting but it was delicious! Wish there was one by us in CT! Puts a lot of places near us to shame”

“I moved to the Long Pond area earlier this year and upon doing so I’ve tried a few different takeout restaurants but NOTHING compares to AJ’s food and customer service! From the pizza to the cheesesteak (phenomenal by the way), this place is in a league of their own! Hands down. Very kind staff as well. Owner is very personable and has even made a couple delivers to me. Highly recommend! Enough to let you know that this is the first restaurant and/or food review that I’ve ever posted. -Ryan”

“All other Chinese restaurants in the area suck and cost more and many places in the area don't even clean their shrimp. They will it with intestine of the shrimp full of poo. This is the only place that I can trust that taste good. Don't go anywhere else. It's a hole in the wall type place. No where to eat. Not listed anywhere, take out only no delivery but well worth it. The est of places want to charge like twenty bucks for stuff you know costs ten or less. Vegetables are cheap! Only go here where it's reasonable and delicious.”

“Some of the Best Birria Tacos I’ve Had!

I wasn’t expecting much going in, but wow — the birria tacos here are legit. The tortillas were perfectly crispy and golden, the meat was tender and packed with flavor, and the consomé had that deep, rich taste you only get when it’s made right. Every bite was ridiculously good.

The plate came with pickled onions that added the perfect crunch and acidity, and the sides of rice and beans were solid too — creamy beans, well-seasoned rice, and everything felt fresh. Even the presentation was great.

The vibe of the place is fun and lively with a nice bar setup, colorful décor, and good energy all around. Perfect spot to grab a drink and some seriously good food.

If you’re into birria tacos, this place is absolutely worth it. I’d come back just for those alone.”

“I heard by word of mouth that the Vintage Tavern had the best Philly style cheesesteaks in the Poconos. If you enjoy a great cheesesteak do not make this place anything other than your next stop for one. I also sampled the fries and they were equally spectacular. I will be going back soon! “We got to the breakfast buffett and were seated in Christians section, where he created us immediately and took our drinks order. I want to thank Christian for being so kind to my mom and going above and beyond! The food was decent. Cobbler was delicious. But the service we received from him was nothing short of perfect. He was moving the whole time working and we never had an empty cup. The experience was great!”

“Whether you are heading to the Crossings in Scotrun, PA, the Mt Airy Casino, Great Wolf Lodge, working near or traveling through, Nick’s is a must stop! A great business model with a true sense of running a successful business while serving awesome sandwiches, soups, breakfast 8 am, using fresh ingredients and a kitchen staff eager to prepare great food. One cheesesteak, sauce on side, on a fresh semolina roll, substantial meat, cheesy with nice flavors. The Italian sub, piled high with select Boars Head meats on same seeded roll was so big, it satisfied my hearty appetite. The chili and crab soup were totally delicious, well seasoned and hearty. At $6.99 for 12 ounces (bowl), they both satisfied us as an appetizer or lunch. The soups change daily! It was a delight talking to the owner who takes much pride in the 7 month old deli. I’m happy they landed in this part of the Poconos for residents and travelers to enjoy! We’ll definitely return to try the pizza and a pork Etta sandwich. Open every day but Sunday.”
