Haven't been here in 20 years. Taste just as good as I remember! Chili cheeseburger and fries is the way to go.
This place has very authentic food. Will definitely be returning. Food was wonderful and the homemade pierogies were so good! The french fries and gravy are definitely worth trying an so much more! I highly recommend and we'll be going back!

I’ve been eating Carwanna burgers since the 1960’s.I’ve long since moved away but if I’m ever back home I get a burger. There is a special taste to the chili on the burger that I’ve never been able to find anywhere else. Thanks for the memories and keep making the chili hamburger’s.
Food is good, The atmosphere friendly, and the bill was reasonable. I'll be back
I have great memories of this place from back in the day, when they were located in a hole in the wall. Been nearly a decade since I was there last, but recently got into talking about it to coworkers, and could start to remember that taste of mustard and chili. Unfortunately, those memories don't match up to what I recently experienced. From sitting down to receiving my lunch took under two minutes, with no burger touching the flat top grill. And unbelievably, this was right after opening. It looks to be they keep pre-cooked burgers just warmed in a container on the flat top, with buns steaming next to it, which I didn't get with my pretty solid bun, being told since they just opened they didn't have them ready yet. The chili was pretty thin too, a far cry from my memory of being able to drag fries through it to pick it up, which wasn't possible now.Without a doubt if they reverted the chili back to how it used to be and cooked their burgers fresh to order, it'd be a great place again. But as it is now, right after opening and being served pre-cooked food when they should be specializing in chili cheeseburgers, I can't justify going here at all.
Love coming here and stopping when up from TX. A customer from way back before I joined the AF. Anyway the taste of the chili sauce at least to me has changed over the decades I've stopped by. But the burgers still are great. Will continue to stop by when in the area.

There food is completely disgusting the fries were soggy there bacon wasn’t even bacon and last time I checked blt’s were made of bacon lettuce and tomato’s plus mayo but I got mine and the bacon was a beef strip and there was no mayo then we had chili burgers and they didn’t taste good at all we had cheese fries and the cheese wasn’t even cheddar like we ordered and it had like a expired taste and there hotdogs were ridiculously small they were the size of my the palm of my hand ✋? and it was all $64 that we wasted honestly wish the old owners still owned it bc now it’s just trash
I have been going there for years. It was a little pricey this time. Over 40 bucks for some burgers and dogs was too much. For 2 people.. I guess it is time to move on. It has been a good stretch of years.
5 stars for the huge pierogies, cut fries and service. Dogs were not the best chili dogs, but flavorful. Recommend trying this place. Not many old school places left.
I feel awful leaving this review because years ago, getting Carawanna food was such a treat. The chili used to have a lighter color, with the meat more finely broken up (no clumps). It used to be like a sauce rather than this bland blob of tasteless meat. This was dark, pasty and basically without that old Carawanna distinctive taste. The fries weren’t fully cooked. Even though we got them with chili, the fries on the bottom lacked crispness, too. We had a similar experience in the summer but I was hoping that was just an off day. I guess this is the “new” Carawanna. Not a fan.
That place is nuts charging $8.00 for a hot dog lol omg ridiculous !! There’s so many places that are much better and better quality meat!!!The beef in the chili sauce is bought from Walmart disgusting meat!!! Just wow !!??
