“Been going here a long time. It’s my favorite place around here. They’re so kind and the food is always great. We moved away and still drive the extra time to come back. They’re extremely generous people.”

“We went here for the first time last night. The food was good. The waiter was polite, prompt, but overwhelmed. Dining here was difficult. There are too many tables packed in one small room. We not only had to get up from our table if the neighboring table had to use the bathroom, but we had to get up so that the waiter can deliver food and clear dishes from the tables around us. We were not the only table having to do this. It ruined the whole dining experience. There were so many tables packed in the dining room that you couldn’t even open the door all the way to enter or exit the restaurant. Less tables would help this restaurant run more efficiently and improve the dining experience.”

“Having lived in cdale I had never been to this spot. Stopped in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised. It has recently been taken over by a young gentleman who was very nice! I heard the food is great. Hoping he does well!”

“We order from here at least a couple times a month. My husband is seriously hooked on the piggies (aka stuffed cabbage). I've tried a lot of things on the menu and the only thing that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed is the drop noodles. I'd never had them before and they just weren't for me. I think they'd probably go over well for someone who grew up on them. Anyway. The pizza is excellent. The pierogies are fresh and fantastic, with so many filling options! I'm partial to the chili dog pierogies but those are only available sometimes. Check out Facebook for their specials. They have specials every week, including items not typically on the menu and special pierogi options. There are tables for dine-in but this place thrives on carry-out. 3% charge for paying with a card.”

“The Peanut Bar is one of my favorite places to visit in Carbondale. It's the "go to place" if you're looking for something to do or a good crowd to hang out with. The staff and bartenders are very kind and personable. Also, the Sweet and Spicy burger is one of my menu favorites. It has candied jalapeños, bacon, cheddar cheese, frizzled onions, and hot honey sauce on it. Get it with the hand cut fries and it is perfection! I highly recommend stopping in here and trying the food or any of their specialty drinks. I might have to go tonight because now I am thinking about the burger after writing this review. Haha. If this isn't for you, then take a short walk to the Cashew Lounge right behind it.”

“This is exactly the kind of venue our area needs. Live music every week. The owner is committed to making Aj's a destination and I (a local) couldn't be happier. This is where I go when I go out.”

“Quick turnaround on your order. I would definitely stick with steamed dumplings vs. Fried. Crab Rab appetizer are medium size not very large. LO mein was delicious Snrimp Egg foo young ..delicious ask for flat not chucky. General chicken good. I wish they offered the General shrimp on delivery menu . We pick up bi weekly or monthly from here yet I hv not asked if they can do the generals shrimp in a brown garlic sauce as that is fabulous and my go to. If I don't stick with veggies. Try and Enjoy! “We ordered the bacon flatbread, spaghetti and mushrooms with red sauce and the Parmesan risotto. Everything was fresh, packaged perfectly, and really good. The best part was the owner, Pierre, personally delivered our take out to our car and chatted as if he knew me for 30 years. What a gentleman and what a great dinner. We will return!”

“Couldn't be more exquisite! I just went to dinner there so I can't comment on rooms. I say the location is excellent because they have outdoor dining overlooking the lake. But if you're just going for dinner it's about a 35 minute ride from Scranton, but well worth the drive, as there is no other place like it locally.The staff is utterly attentive. It's also beautiful overlooking the lake while the sun sets. Most importantly is the food. There was a group of us getting together as we went through school with everyone. We chose a five course dinner. Each dish was excellent. Served in a perfectly timed manner. There were several meat dishes which were extremely delicious. All dishes we had were as well. The cost for each of us was $90.00 for five courses. Very fair price for quality dishes.Also, it's so refreshing sitting outside close to the water. It creates a beautiful environment while dining. We ended up staying quite a long time, it may have been past closing, yet they never made us feel uncomfortable and never rushed us. If I had to choose among other restaurants, I would choose dining there above all other places. Perfect for special occasions.Food & drinks: As I stated, the food is five stars. There is also a bar on the deck so you never had to wait.Noteworthy details: Again, dining outside overlooking Crystal Lake is simply outstanding.”

“Pat's has great pizza and hoagies. My favorite thing to order from here is their chicken, bacon, ranch pizza with crispy chicken. I am never disappointed. Highly recommend visiting here!”

“Delicious homemade food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great welcoming atmosphere from owner, staff, and patrons alike. Hometown feel with olden decor and seasonal decorations as well as a few newer things such as casino games, mechanical dart board, and flat screen smart tvs. Weekly food and drink specials. It's a great place to visit with friends and acquaintances daily or for special events.”

“Food great! Service wonderful. Atmosphere good, they just need to refurbish the chairs so that the worn pillow doesn't have you sitting in more of a pit. Bathrooms need reno too but still we will return!”

The menu has a variety of options that is sure to make everyone happy. You should definitely try their homemade soppressata.”

“The staff is always so nice, and they prepare excellent food. Everything is great from the pizza, to the pasta and even cheese fries and homemade brownies. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for great food.”
