First time coming here. The potato pancakes and potato & cheese pierogi were delicious. Had pagash for the first time ever. It was so good. Definitely a place I will come back to. The staff was very friendly.

Outstanding!! Drop noodle sautéed in butter and onion. Cabbage pirohi, pagach,potato pancakes, potato soup. My son is in heaven. Our new go to!!

We order from here at least a couple times a month. My husband is seriously hooked on the piggies (aka stuffed cabbage). I've tried a lot of things on the menu and the only thing that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed is the drop noodles. I'd never had them before and they just weren't for me. I think they'd probably go over well for someone who grew up on them. Anyway. The pizza is excellent. The pierogies are fresh and fantastic, with so many filling options! I'm partial to the chili dog pierogies but those are only available sometimes. Check out Facebook for their specials. They have specials every week, including items not typically on the menu and special pierogi options. There are tables for dine-in but this place thrives on carry-out. 3% charge for paying with a card.

Pierogi & Pizza Plus offers friendly service and amazing food. I sampled the pagash pizza with onions, potato pancakes, pierogies with cheese and served with butter and onions, and haluski.I can honestly say all of it was delicious and fresh. This is some of the best food I've ever had. The potatos used were delicious, and the food tastes like it was made with quality ingredients. I will definitely be back here again.

What's a Polish-American girl to do when returning to northeastern Pennsylvania for the holidays? Why, stock up on favorite Polish foods to take back home to Virginia! Today's stop was Pierogi & Pizza Plus+ in Carbondale. "The Plus+ is brotherhood, love of food, and a desire to serve the community we grew up in." Our goal today was to buy some frozen pirogies to go, which are pre-cooked frozen fresh, ready to heat and eat pockets of stuffed doughy delights. They offer 12 frozen varieties, 10 of which were in stock while we visited. Workers were hard at work making additional pierogis on-site. 1, 2. Potato & Cheese; Potato & Cooper Cheese. (6/$5). 3-7. Cabbage; Sauerkraut; Cheesy Jalapeño; Blueberry; Dill Pickle (6/$6). 8-12. Steak & Cheese; Chicken Cheesesteak; Ham & Cheese; Hot Wing; and Mac & Cheese & Bacon. (6/$7.50). The cashier also mentioned that they were making some fresh ones with apples. You can also eat-in at a small number of tables, where you can feast on Polish foods (haluski, kielbasa, cabbage rolls, polish potato soup, potato pancakes, pierogis) OR pizza, strombolis, hoagies, chicken bites, or hot dogs. Service was great. Staff were attentive and friendly, and made sure we knew what was available, They packed our order quickly and we were on our way. They accept cash or credit cards. (Visa or MasterCard with a 3.5% fee). There's a free parking lot in front of the shop.

10/6/23 First time trying this place. We got the special. 2 large round cheese pizzas for $23. It was takeout and it was done on time. One of the pizzas definitely seemed like an older pizza the warmed up. It was kind of hard and only warm, while the pizza we saw them take out of the oven was hot with a droopy crust. There wasn't much cheese on the pizzas, but we didn't order extra. We mainly didn't like the super thin crust and the mildly sweet sauce. It may have tasted sweet because they used too much oregano. Anyway, we gave it a try but will stick with Royal or Donenick's for now. We may try the perogies in the future though.

Pierogi & Pizza Plus serves up a decent pierogi. Having eaten many pierogi in my lifetime, I wouldn’t rank them as the absolute best, but they certainly satisfy. The dough is a tad thicker than I’m accustomed to. Their speedy service makes them a convenient choice for on-the-go. Personally, I lean towards the pierogi at Bazaars, but Pierogi & Pizza Plus is a reliable and not a bad year-round option.
