Aya Japanese Steakhouse Reviews
This place could be so much better if they would get new chairs (they’re all coming apart and wobbly) - the staff is not that friendly - the atmosphere is nothing desirable - the food is good (not great) - it’s dirty esp in the bathrooms - the sink in the ladies room is falling apart and the faucets are coming out of the vanity - I asked for an extra napkin and she brought me the cheapest tiny napkins I’ve ever seen - the guy cooking was not very happy which is not good...read full review
Bad service. Food is good if they could get their staff to be nicer.
**unsure why this page will not post as selected for this review - I do NOT recommend this establishment.
If you’re into handing over a credit card having no clue what your total is or even if you’re being given the right order - Aya is for you. Aya Japanese Steakhouse is a mixed experience with room for improvement. The hibachi service can be hit or miss, as one chef may lack enthusiasm. However, the food is good and reasonably priced. The restaurant could benefit from some cleaning, but the sushi, shrimp, and noodles are fresh and tasty. Customer service has received mixed reviews; some feel rushed while others have a more positive experience. Notably, the staff is friendly and flexible, accommodating special requests without judgment.
The hibachi show features fire, flying spatulas, and egg acrobatics, but it is not overly flashy, making it suitable for families. The scallops were perfection, and the veggies impressed even picky eaters. While drink refills may take time, the overall dining experience is enjoyable. Aya Japanese Steakhouse offers a decent option for delicious food, especially sushi and shrimp, at affordable prices, making it a sweet spot for families looking for a relaxed atmosphere with just enough theatrical flair.
