Best dive bar
The essential dive bar experience. Plenty of parking, smoking allowed inside, the feel-good 80s and 90s decor and pool tables with the well-worn comfy seats. Based on reviews, Bar B-Q Tavern is a local, smoker’s bar with truck parking that wraps around to the back. The food is very affordable, with prices only going up by about a dollar across the board. Everything on the menu is yummy. Specific meals mentioned include the Brisket sammich, Full of Bologna, Patty Melt, and a rib-eye sub, all described as amazing. The food is well portioned, correct, and on time, served till 2AM. Food specials are recommended over the regular menu. The lady-barkeeps are excellent and super friendly, though service depends on who is working, as some men-barkeeps are not friendly. The bathrooms are a big complaint. There is no kid-friendliness. Friday and Saturday nights have Karaoke.
