Micky Finn
A Desperate Times specialty, aka the cat's pajamas. Our notorious schnitzel Sandwich made with breaded pork cutlet, sautéed. Served on a hoagie roll topped with garlic lemon aioli and romaine lettuce. Served with chips and a pickle.
The Get-Up
Roasted chicken sandwich made with house made hummus and fresh baby organic spinach on Naan bread. Served with chips and a pickle.
Cheese It
Grilled cheese sandwich made with organic multi-grain bread, Havarti and cheddar cheese. Served with chips and a pickle.
Porky Cheese It
A Desperate Times specialty, aka the cat's pajamas. Same as the Cheese It, but with pulled pork. Served with chips and a pickle.
Blind Pig
House made rub and brine, marinated and smoked pork butt, with our homemade coleslaw and served on a crostini bun. Served with chips and a pickle. Choice of original or spicy BBQ sauce.
The Capone
A Desperate Times specialty, aka the cat's pajamas. Cuban sandwich, marinated pork loin with a house made Cuban Mojo marinade slowly roasted. On authentic Cuban bread from La Segunda Bakery (Ybor City, FL) with sliced ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and yellow mustard. Served with chips and a pickle.
The Lincoln
Corned beef, Swiss, German sauerkraut and homemade Thousand Island dressing on rye. Served with chips and a pickle.

Recent Reviews

Atmosphere was good, service was good, we had a large party outside. The food was here and there, not many in our group enjoyed the pulled pork style sandwich, the sausages were very good as was the potato salad. Everyone seemed to enjoy the beer selection, the wine was pretty bad. It's not hard to stock decent wine, especially at 9$ a glass. I'm not sure if it's local, but that could be the problem. 😬 We enjoyed our time there, I did hate all the paper plates...

Service is phenomenal. I had the Mexican Lager and the Raspberry Lemon Drop. Both were excellent drinks. The sausage I had was super flavorful and the kraut was good. Unfortunately they served it in a roll versus a bun. The casing was too tough and I had to use a knife and fork. Played some board games, ate some food and had some good drinks. Desperate Times = Good times.

We stopped in Desperate Times Brewery for a late dinner and had our choice of tables. Starting with drinks and an Oliver Twist proved to be a wise choice. The lime gave the Mexican-Style Lager an extra summertime twist, and the beer cheese was a perfect compliment the warm soft pretzel (that was perfect for sharing). For dinner we opted to get sandwiches which were served warm and were full of flavor. Service was great, and we didn’t feel rushed even though we were on the later...
