Stopped in Sunday after church. Parking lot was full but available seating inside. Really like the bright, open atmosphere and all the windows. Orders taken and food arrived promptly. The writer had the western omelet with home fries and toast. All of us were happy with our meals. We will be returning!
We loved everything about our meal at Sunnyside! The atmosphere was happy and friendly, we each ordered different meals and were all pleased with the food, and the owners showed appreciation for our business. We will return next week with more friends!

Sunnyside Family Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner with all-day breakfast available. The service is fast and good, with friendly staff who check on customers regularly. One server was great and took time to get it right without rushing. The manager and waitresses provide amazing service. The atmosphere is good, bright, clean, and welcoming. The food is incredible. One guest had an omelet that was just ok. Another enjoyed eggs Benedict which was very good. The French toast in the morning is the best. For dinner, the Roast Chicken with chicken gravy was scrumptious with plenty of meat, though the gravy could be on the side. The baked potato was cooked perfectly with the best sour cream. The New York steak and mashed potatoes were delicious, but the chili was a bit salty. The mac&cheese was rather bland and needed something. The Turtle Cheesecake was good, but the molasses on top was not a favorite. There is a great seniors menu with ice cream dessert. Pepsi products are available. Plenty of parking and nicely decorated for Fall. The restaurant is a wonderful place to eat, and highly recommended for Carlisle events.
