“Went with family for a Birthday. We were a party of 6 about 5:10 or so. They said we could be seated right away and we were. All appetizers were excellent--fish tacos, mozzarella planks and chicken queso Dias and salads. All excellent. Various dinners of a special Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, risotto, blackened shrimp skewer and asparagus. The steak had a glaze of steak sauce of some sort blended with red wine. Another two persons chose the crab cake and New York strip with two sides, another lasagna dinner and last person ordered the honey infused broasted chicken half with mashed and vegetable of the day which was Veggie medley. We were al delighted with our dinner fare and apps and totally full but opted for deserts to go of Peanut Butter pie, Coconut cake and Creme Broulee. Everyone was verbal in saying they were so glad we went here for Birthday dinner. Thanks for the great time, quick table and excellent service. Hats off to Jordan our server.“

“Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle. Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch. Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter. New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!! I tip my hat to the chef.“

“Everything was great I love their home-cooked meals breakfast, lunch and dinner a special every day. The only thing is they can't get Facebook to correct their hours. Hopefully Facebook will actually have a human to see this and contact them about it.“

“Excellent all the way around. They made my birthday special. Our steaks were cooked perfectly (ribeye and filet). The roasted broccoli and pickled veggies were spot on. The decor makes you feel like you are in a 1794 tavern/inn. It's quiet enough to have a conversation. If you have the opportunity ion, ask for Savannah to be your waitress. She will take very good care of you.“

“Stopped in Sunday after church. Parking lot was full but available seating inside. Really like the bright, open atmosphere and all the windows. Orders taken and food arrived promptly. The writer had the western omelet with home fries and toast. All of us were happy with our meals. We will be returning!“

“Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!“

“First of all.. Didn't have food.. But lots of people were having it.. Didn't hear any complaints..

LOADS of beers options available. We were not driving luckily.. Most of the beers are very strong. The bartender was good, she knew her stock.. Very enjoyable place. Passed by on an international visit. Will be back if in town again. Much more professional then local competition and much more selection. Reasonable priced.

ONLY NEGATIVE.... 3% Credit Card charge on bills... It wasn't clearly marked before you asked for your bill.. They could probably do with some signs behind the bar. It was marked on the bill but we didn't see it and being in the US.. Naturally assumed the appropriate payment was credit.. Once we saw the extra charge we opted to pay cash.. No big deal. BUT tax is not charged if you pay cash only if you pay credit?! I don't know know how that works. Bartender admitted she should have mentioned it but forgot.“

“Honestly, this is one of the best bars around. Great atmosphere, good vibes, and excellent service. I especially want to give a shoutout to the gentleman (soccter) working the day shift. He’s always professional, friendly, and treats customers with respect. You can tell he genuinely cares about his job and goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Big respect to him. If you’re looking for a great bar with amazing service, this is definitely the place to be.“

“We were a little nervous driving in not knowing if it would be weird to stop in for food and boy were we happy we went! The pickleback wings are phenomenal and Friday was $1 wings all day. All of the food and dressings were fresh and craft. Friendly, attentive service and great prices. Make the stop off the turnpike. You won’t regret it!“
