“Went with family for a Birthday. We were a party of 6 about 5:10 or so. They said we could be seated right away and we were. All appetizers were excellent--fish tacos, mozzarella planks and chicken queso Dias and salads. All excellent. Various dinners of a special Filet mignon wrapped in bacon, risotto, blackened shrimp skewer and asparagus. The steak had a glaze of steak sauce of some sort blended with red wine. Another two persons chose the crab cake and New York strip with two sides, another lasagna dinner and last person ordered the honey infused broasted chicken half with mashed and vegetable of the day which was Veggie medley. We were al delighted with our dinner fare and apps and totally full but opted for deserts to go of Peanut Butter pie, Coconut cake and Creme Broulee. Everyone was verbal in saying they were so glad we went here for Birthday dinner. Thanks for the great time, quick table and excellent service. Hats off to Jordan our server.“

“Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle. Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch. Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter. New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!! I tip my hat to the chef.“

“Do yourself a favor and take a little trip back in time, drop by this Carlisle icon. Same people, great food (the sausage for breakfast is fantastic) and great prices. We no longer live in the area but whenever we visit we will always try to stop by and savor the memories.“

“We had such a great meal! Carlisle has a lot of history and I love that this quaint restaurant captures those vibes. If you enjoy whiskey then this is a great place to visit. If you don't enjoy whiskey this is still a great place to visit. I do recommend their old fashion and their midnight manhattan.

We started with warm bread and butter. Best bread ever!! Then we tried the crab fries - fresh cut and cooked perfectly. Plenty of fresh crabmeat on top. We enjoyed the beef stroganoff- we added mushrooms - the beef was very tender. My husband doesn't like beef stroganoff but loved this.

Finally, our server, Jayden, made our evening. She was so sweet and attentive. She really knew the menu and gave us some great recommendations. I hope her Dad gets to read these compliments because he really raised a wonderful human!

“Stopped in Sunday after church. Parking lot was full but available seating inside. Really like the bright, open atmosphere and all the windows. Orders taken and food arrived promptly. The writer had the western omelet with home fries and toast. All of us were happy with our meals. We will be returning!“

“Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!“

“I really can't give a full experience on the rating at this time but I will tell you what I do know. It was a Friday afternoon and the place is very spacious with a few pool tables located off to the back corner. The seating around the the entire bar area and majority of the tables and the pool tables were occupied. The plan for that day was to shoot a couple games of pool and grab a bite to eat with two friends.
So I will summarize this by saying I've been there in the past and everything is always been as good as anticipated or better. This was so why the place was as full as it was at that time of day.“

“We were a little nervous driving in not knowing if it would be weird to stop in for food and boy were we happy we went! The pickleback wings are phenomenal and Friday was $1 wings all day. All of the food and dressings were fresh and craft. Friendly, attentive service and great prices. Make the stop off the turnpike. You won’t regret it!“
