Today my daughter and I enjoyed the most delicious lunch at One 13 Social in downtown Carlisle.
Small plates are elegant and perfect for lunch.
Mine was Spoonbread Shrimp, extraordinarily creative flavors : salty olive tapanade, savory grilled shrimp, and sweet cornbread with honey butter.
New to their terrific menu, hope it stays!!

The food was absolutely delicious and had great depths of flavor. This is a place that I will go back to again and again. I was blown away by the thoughtfulness of the food preparation. The fries came out in a metal cup that kept them warm throughout my meal. They were cut so thin all of the fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned. We had a lovely experience. It was our first time there.
Update: Showed up on Saturday evening wanting to eat at the bar. Left without ordering because a cook in the kitchen had a full on beard hanging down. No thank you. There are other restaurants in downtown Carlisle to patron.
