The food is great and 99% of the staff is excellent besides the 2 younger gentlemen that check IDs at the door. They’re absolute scumbags.
Friendly staff! Food was amazing (and I’m very picky)!
Super packed when we came in so we sat at the bar. A table came open so we moved to it so we could actually talk. Waiter was soooo rude and wouldn’t come serve us. Waited atleast 45 minutes. Kept passing by and told us we couldn’t get drinks at the bar. Then again refused to come to us. Happy birthday to me.

The Gingerbread Man in Carlisle has an awesome atmosphere with a very cool bar, sit down areas, and incredible decor—iconically old, original, with beautiful wood. The atmosphere is lively, and it is one of the coolest bars you will ever see. There is a general seating area with small TVs to watch sports and a back pool hall with 4 tables and another bar. The food has great presentation, but the Philly cheese steak and California Burger were both just ok. The Garlic Parm boneless wings were not bad but had a lot of grease. Chili is amazing, burgers mediocre. Food is decent, nothing spectacular. There is a great selection of draft beers, cans, bottles, and whiskey, plus a huge menu. Service varies; some bartenders are nice, attentive, friendly, and efficient, while one server was nice but unable to check on tables or offer refills. A security guard was rude and unprofessional, with inconsistent ID checks. There is free street parking and a 4 level parking ramp 50ft away.
