“We come to Forry’s whenever we camp at Gifford (and sometimes make the 1 1/2 hour drive just to eat). We love the food and ice cream. The staff is wonderful too. It is definitely a place you want to try.“

“One of York’s hidden gems! We have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal. In my opinion, consistency is what will bring you back to a restaurant time and time again. The Roosevelt Tavern is definitely one of those places. Atmosphere is very nice, quiet with great music in the background where you can actually have a conversation while enjoying your meal. “Overall service was great, waitress was good, service was good food was good. Ordered a spinach/cheese appetizer to go, was bagged ready to go but when we opened it 1 1/2 inch of dip ! N a small bowl with a half of a large bag of chips already opened, we only needed about 4 chips to eat it“

“For awhile, there was some turnover in the cook staff and the service and food was not very good to be honest. Some of these issues seem to have been fixed and changes have been made for the better. Service is much faster and food quality has improved. If you haven't been there in some time, give it another chance. I'm glad to be patronizing again.“

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!“

“It was my first time coming here with my girlfriend and let me tell you, it's refreshing to still find a good dive bar. We drove over 50 minutes to come here and it was well worth it. The server came to the table in a reasonable time we ordered 2 beers and 2 martinis. It took a long time to get our drinks. The complimentary chips with balsamic were very good. I was disappointed in the appetizer selection. There were 3 soups, Brussels sprouts and crab dip. I was hoping for a few more options as our friends don’t like Brussels and I didn’t want soup to snack on. So we had crab dip and a lite fair item. Everything was very good but as soon as the server found out we were not planning on having dinner she essentially ghosted us. We still tipped her very well hoping it will boost her Evening and remind her not to brush off a table just because they are not having an entree. I look forward to going back. Everything we ate and drank were very good. I am eager To try more items. It was a nice place for celebrating with friends“

But hadn't frequented the white rose after they went to a more upscale setting, my old high school homie suggested we go there and after we got seated I found out his out of town visit was for a death in his family that he assumed I knew about but I did not... now your staff being as great as you guys are and the food made this bad personal experience for us very nice otherwise, and it made me feel I may visit again sometime for lunch and a cold 🍺“

I go here often enough and I have had days where things where off but then again I've had that happen everywhere . The food here is good , good price, and the staff is friendly and fast.“

I don't understand why anybody would want to go to a fast food restaurant and get garbage ingredients making Corporate America richer when you can go to a family Diner and have better quality food hot and fast. The amount of time that it takes you to sit in the Drive-Thru you can order burger and fries at this little local spot run over to the dollar store to get whatever you need and then come back and it's all ready for you to eat if you get a cheeseburger deluxe with french fries it's the same price that you would be paying with a bigger burger and fresher vegetables then at a fast food restaurant!!! I have eaten here for breakfast and lunch multiple times over the years. I like going Saturday mornings with my co-workers just to sit down and have conversation and to relax. I wish they still had the dividers up between the booths that's the only reason why I gave it a four stars for atmosphere. It does get crowded on Saturdays so maybe you might want to do it Friday morning breakfast like my supervisors. breakfasts are excellent and affordable I can't share any pictures because I already ate it“

“had another great experience at Dylan’s Bar in East Berlin! I ordered the ribs with mac and cheese and curly fries, and everything was absolutely excellent. The ribs were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly—they were just as good as the first time I came here and ordered them before. The mac and cheese was rich and delicious, and the curly fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly.

It’s always nice finding a place that stays consistent with both quality and service, and Dylan’s Bar definitely does that. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the visit.

After having such a great experience both times, I can confidently say I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a great dining experience! 10/10 if you want amazing food you have to go!“

“This was the first time that my wife and I ordered from 3rd Base, and while all we ordered was a Cheeseburger Sub and an order of fries, let me tell you that our dining room was eerily silent for 5-10 minutes as we both were so impressed and surprised at how damn good our meal was, that we didn't talk, share, or otherwise allow any outside interference as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To me, the food is quintessentially some of the best Central Pennsylvania comfort food around and we are thrilled that the menu prices for burgers, subs, and appetizers were lower than expected, even though the quality and quantity of the portions were well above average. “We came here for dinner on a Saturday evening in September. We saw on Facebook that a musician we like was performing. Facebook has this listed as Center Square Brewing but the sign outside still says underside bar.

We sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and then dinner. I had the cashew crusted chicken and it was good. It came with two pieces of chicken and I took one home as leftovers. The steak meal was very good as well.

The bartender was friendly and attentive. There weren’t too many people down there. The atmosphere felt like a basement - I mean, it’s a little dark because it’s down stairs and there is no windows and everything is brown or dark colors. It was casual and relaxed. Prices were comparable to most other local places we go.
