“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!“

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!“

“We visited this location on 4/4/2026. We decided to eat here since it's close to.the college my son attends. This was our first time ever eating at Cheddar's. The food and service was excellent. My son loved the Buffalo chicken wraps. My daughter got the tender meal but only at the fries, because she ate some of my wife's steak. Normally we have to find a place that serves lamb for her to eat something other than tenders when we go out.“

The authenticy from the people to the place sent me in overload of nostalgia reminiscing from when my Nanny was alive & visiting her and being in her kitchen (she had same type of tables and older kitchen gadgets, right down to the whiskey container's too) with her cooking breakfast. “Our party of nine had a delightful Mother’s Day meal here. We admittedly hadn’t been to the RT in many years. The food was exceptional, and the service was, too. We all said Roosevelt will be in our regular rotation of places to dine out after today’s service. Thanks for a special Mother’s Day.“

“I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for the kindness and exceptional service provided by Jim & Nena's. After a failed delivery with GrubHub it was much needed!! They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“

“We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!“

I would tell you if you are looking for great food and a place go to Alley Oops Sports Bar & Grill is where to go. “This restaurant is Excellent in Every category! I have Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The food is just as great as the view overlooking the golf course. There is plenty of seating, a large game room and many options! The bathrooms are clean and the waiters and waitresses are excellent! Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could knock this place. In my book it is Top Notch on all levels!“

Got the backfin crab cakes... on point. Stuffed mushrooms...on point.
I'm a Baltimore native and this is the first time I can say I enjoyed the crab in PA.
Cole slaw how I like it.
Fries better quality light batter I 🤔 yummy.
Ate in the bar as the dining area opened later. I'm an Ex smoker with a vape on the ready just incase. It was too smokey in the bar but I'll plan better and eat in the dining room which is non-smoking in the future.
Service was a bit slow.I felt like I had to ask for my Guinness expected it quicker. The server was young and scrambling so...it happens, otherwise she was on point :)

But hadn't frequented the white rose after they went to a more upscale setting, my old high school homie suggested we go there and after we got seated I found out his out of town visit was for a death in his family that he assumed I knew about but I did not... now your staff being as great as you guys are and the food made this bad personal experience for us very nice otherwise, and it made me feel I may visit again sometime for lunch and a cold 🍺“

“Village Green was a nice spot for a meal. The food was good, but slightly overpriced. The service was slower than expected but the servers were kind. The atmosphere is plain & painted in all grey. Probably wouldn't go again with other options out there. Overall, 4 out of 5.“

“My experience at Longhorn Steakhouse was the best we've had without a doubt. There was no wait so we were seated right away and the booth was large and clean.

Trista attended to our table promptly and so thoroughly that we didn't have to ask for anything additional.

Usually we have to ask for additional napkins for our kids, A1 Sauce for my daughter's steak, sometimes we have to ask for the bread, but with Trista, she was on top of all of this without even being asked. She was very comprehensive in the service she provided and expertly anticipated our needs.

I would consider this one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in recent memory and would love to visit again to receive the same experience.“

I go here often enough and I have had days where things where off but then again I've had that happen everywhere . The food here is good , good price, and the staff is friendly and fast.“

“Arrived in town for a short stay from Florida. The minute we arrived we were greeted by professional and young college kids at the hostess stand. We waited for 10 minutes while our table was assigned. Perfect table on the terrace facing the 18th hole. Sarah our hostess from Penn state was a joy to get to know. We all ordered from the huge menu selection and couldnt decide what to order. We saw The table next to us and the presentation looked amazing. We finally ordered steaks and salmon as our meal with delicious drinks. Perfect Saturday night at a great venue in York Pa. Keep up the great work Shaun Conway and your team. We will be back. “Our first time visiting this establishment and we could not have been more impressed! The service was welcoming and excellent. The small plates were not very small and were absolutely delicious! The chef clearly knows how to make dishes taste savory. The beer and wine selection is top notch and our waiter was well educated. There is a piano in the main dining area, though it was not being played during our visit, the vibe of the restaurant conveys it would be an amazing piano bar experience. Oh, did I mention the food was fantastic? There is a bar and lounge upstairs that offers a small and relaxing getaway from the main area on the first floor. Will go back often!“

“This was my first time in here but many people have told me I need to try it. I came specifically for the boneless wings, they were everything I had hoped and were told! It took me a second to figure out the ordering protocol but to be fair my blood sugar was crashing as I walked in the door so that was on me. I will definitely be back, I was spying on the people next to me eating burgers they look delicious so we will have to find that out later.

You are allowed to smoke in the bar, so if cigarettes bother you, it's probably not the place to go for you. You can take your drinks into the bowling alley and play a few games while you drink! I always have a good time there.“
