“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!“

“We love it here, best breakfast! Make sure you get the home fries with onions! Can't go wrong with anything you order here. But my favorite is the feta tomato & spinach scrambler. If you're ordering pancakes, be prepared, it's huge, but so so delicious!
For lunch, make sure you get a burger or the hot turkey meal if she's serving it! Becky & her employees are awesome!“

“Overall service was great, waitress was good, service was good food was good. Ordered a spinach/cheese appetizer to go, was bagged ready to go but when we opened it 1 1/2 inch of dip ! N a small bowl with a half of a large bag of chips already opened, we only needed about 4 chips to eat it“

“One of York’s hidden gems! We have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal. In my opinion, consistency is what will bring you back to a restaurant time and time again. The Roosevelt Tavern is definitely one of those places. Atmosphere is very nice, quiet with great music in the background where you can actually have a conversation while enjoying your meal. The owner/chef, Byron Kehr, is fantastic and extremely accomodating! Thank you, Byron, for always making sure you have the wine we like on hand for our visit!! Ann and Chantal“

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!“

“I cannot even begin to express how grateful we are for the kindness and exceptional service provided by Jim & Nena's. After a failed delivery with GrubHub it was much needed!! They were patient with GrubHub and my husband as all 3 worked together in rectifying the situation (which was no fault of the restaurant). They not only offered to deliver our order themselves (so we could stop dealing with GrubHub), but also gave us an additional pizza!! Ps. The bacon cheese fries were LOADED in cheese & bacon & they were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be stopping here more often (rather than ordering through GrubHub).“

“We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!“

“Came here for my Daughters Birthday around 2 so we could beat the “traffic”, plus there was 7 of us! Trista, our server, was at the table and ready to go. Not pushy but timed, she managed the timing for the whole meal. Was so pleasant, never missed a beat. Glasses were always full and Trista even remembered my daughter’s Birthday Treat. We had a mixture of food stuffs, like having the shrimp appetizer for my entree, Burgers, Rivs and of course, steak! There was no rush to get us out of the table ( we would not do that as a simple courtesy to others waiting) but the time there was nice, not a lot of “noise” and did I mention Trista?“

I go here often enough and I have had days where things where off but then again I've had that happen everywhere . The food here is good , good price, and the staff is friendly and fast.“

“Wow wow wow this might just be the BEST meal in Disney springs. We absolutely loved every single dish we ordered. Would highly recommend the pork belly, the Mac and cheese bites and the meatballs (but I could go on to list every small plate on the menu)! Our server, Dakota, was absolutely impeccable. She was very knowledgeable and attentive - if you get her as your server you're in for a treat!“

“This was the first time that my wife and I ordered from 3rd Base, and while all we ordered was a Cheeseburger Sub and an order of fries, let me tell you that our dining room was eerily silent for 5-10 minutes as we both were so impressed and surprised at how damn good our meal was, that we didn't talk, share, or otherwise allow any outside interference as we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To me, the food is quintessentially some of the best Central Pennsylvania comfort food around and we are thrilled that the menu prices for burgers, subs, and appetizers were lower than expected, even though the quality and quantity of the portions were well above average. I would tell you if you are looking for great food and a place go to Alley Oops Sports Bar & Grill is where to go. “I love Kelly Inn From the Owners to the staff. They remember what your food order are as well as your drink and treat you like family. I always dine alone and they made sure I was comfortable and checked on me, now mind you I normally get the jumbo crabs and thier Neptune pasta platter which is filled with huge shrimps and real scallops so I have plenty to eat, even with that they stop and check on me. I have to travel 30 minutes to get there but it so worth it and if you haven't had their Cosmo its so delicious thank you from the bottom of my heart I truly enjoy my visits with you“

“This restaurant is Excellent in Every category! I have Never had a bad meal at this restaurant. The food is just as great as the view overlooking the golf course. There is plenty of seating, a large game room and many options! The bathrooms are clean and the waiters and waitresses are excellent! Honestly, I don’t know how anyone could knock this place. In my book it is Top Notch on all levels!“
