“We had our wedding reception here and everyone (from 18 - 95 in age) raved about the food and the service. Thank you to all of the staff.Nearby activities: The Railroad House has room available for overnight stays. The restaurant/bar serves great food. The menu changes seasonally. The town of Marietta is quaint and full of charm. There is a nice riverside trail and the location is along the non-navigable section of the Susquehanna River. Great place to spot birds.Safety: The town is full of people born and raised in Marietta. They take great pride in their community.Walkability: The town has sidewalks throughout most of the town. Speed limit for cars is 25mph.Food & drinks: The menu is upscale and very good. Wonderful beer and cocktail selection. There are a number of eating establishments in town. Each has their own unique vibe.“
“We went here for St Patty's and it was perfect. Our table was in the room with the Irish band. Perfect seats. My wife and I both had Irish dishes which were occasion perfect. Our server was amazing. I went to Red Lobster on Friday night and the service was terrible, so our server stood out for his attentiveness. I couldn't imagine a better place to spend St. Pattys.“
“We had to try the fried Mac and cheese. Unique, savory, creamy, would get it again! The sautéed peach burger was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. A lot of great food at a very reasonable price. The service was outstanding. The Trail Rider and Lazy River beers were top notch. This was our first visit and we will be back!“
“Be very careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers (which can happen with any tavern along the river). In December, about 10 days before we went here, they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. The guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders, great service ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. I mean it was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved with escorting the POS to the curb. The owner needs to hire some aggressive enforcement right now to get a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere on a weekend. I hope things change here, they need to exercise a heavy hand. It's a nice place, but the trash has to be dealt with and kept out.“
“I've eaten here since before it was bought and transformed and let me tell you, they did an excellent job making this place look gorgeous!! I haven't had bad food there yet and the same goes for drinks. It's a little pricey, but a very nice place and worth the money. I highly recommend it!“
“Hands down the best diner experience i have had in the past 30 years, I ate at diners from lancaster county up to fort drum new york . This is my Favorite of all time . I would recommend the chipped beef . Its phenomenal ?.Also taking home a quart of Daryl ham nd bean. The dining experience from the moment you walk in till you leave is nothing short of the best you could ask for . The waitress Tina is very friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best dining experience . The owner and the cook , walk out to Greet you and make sure all is above and beyond .5 stars are not enough . To say how great this place is .“
“This place is super adorable!! I came with a small appetite, so I ordered the French Onion Soup. The broth was delicious. However, there were so many croutons in the soup that it was hard to really enjoy it. The cheese on top, while delicious, was so thick that it was hard to eat/incorporate with the soup. I realize that may be some folks' cup of tea. I like a simpler, myself. The calamari was delicious, and my husband LOVED his fish and chips. The table was very sticky, but other than that, the place was darling.Parking: There are few spaces right next to the restaurant. There's a large overflow parking area behind the building that offers a nice walk over a stream.“
“We went here for the first time and had a really good experience! Food was very good, service was friendly, and overall atmosphere is nice.I highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes - they were delicious and the highlight of the experience!!And they have a big menu and a decent amount of unique things on there. I enjoy their paninis, and my husband thought the omelette was very good.Vegetarian options: There are various vegetation optionsParking: Large free parking lotKid-friendliness: Good for kidsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in, but some of the seating is only accessible by stairs. But they do have a ramp at the backdoor to get to the additional seating.“
“What greater compliment can someone give and eatery than returning time after time. I lived in Mount Joy until recently when I relocated to Avondale in Southern Chester County (or some folk think in South Carolina). Depending on buggy and tractor trailer traffic, Miss Calee's is a 55-75 minute drive. I still come to Landisville at least once a week. This little treasure is simply an oasis in a desert of breakfast places. Its food, service, friendliness, and vibe is one of a kind. Give it a shot!! You'll not be disappointed.Parking: Limited parking in front lot. Lots of parking in the rear.Kid-friendliness: Simply put: my grandkids love it!!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the far left of front parking lot right near the handicapped space.“
“A great gem of a restaurant tucked away in Landisville. We were greeted by Matt, who seated us and was our server. We discussed the cocktails and ordered. I had the steak tips sandwich and fries -- very good. I liked the mushrooms and Swiss cheese on the sandwich. The fries are batter dipped, but lightly. They were great, not greasy or soggy. My husband had Chicken Marsala over risotto. The flavor and texture were excellent. We will definitely return. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. Thank you, Blue Collar Restaurant and Matt, for a great evening.“
“Food was great , hot, tasty, plate presentation was very well done. The server was right on time, she was spot on for everyone's needs, can't say enough for the server, she was the best! I highly recommend this restaurant for food service and the atmosphere was rustic but very clean and spacious“
“Was seated quickly. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, attentive, and courteous. Good sized menu with allot of options. They have breakfast all day.Turkey tasted fresh and the gravy was flavorful. Good amount of chicken in the chicken parm but spaghetti and sauce tasted watered down. Chicken wrap was packed and very good. French onion was okay.“
“Excellent restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. This restaurant is in a strip mall so there's plenty of free parking. I meet a friend here once a month for lunch and am happy to be a "regular".“
“My mom & I just picked up breakfast takeout for us & my grandma and just WOW!!! We loved absolutely everything we ordered! The biscuits are delicious & filling, the portions for the price are amazing and I had the best chocolate chip pancake I think I ever had in my life! The pancakes are big & fluffy. The side of meat was two pieces of scrapple which was wonderful as with most places you only get one piece. The toast was pre buttered & yummy. I just can't say enough good things, I am just happy that this place is so close to us & that we were able to get takeout before they closed at noon. Waiting for our food bags we enjoyed taking in all of the diner decor, the place is so adorable & hasn't changed since I was a little kid, I just regret not coming back sooner. Will definitely make a point to dine in often. The atmosphere is awesome & the tiny place gets packed but there is plenty of parking! They know how to cook good breakfast & with it being my fave meal of the day, I was more than satisfied.“
“I can't begin to say what a wonderful experience I had at Becky's Kitchen the other day. We live right down the road but it was my first time visiting. Becky is a lovely , down to earth woman, and makes you feel right at home. I love all the old time antiques she uses to decorate her space. Her eatery is clean and spotless even with all the collectibles that decorate her walls and counters. I thoroughly enjoyed my BBQ Chicken sandwich and cheeseburger soup. The drinks are self serve with canned sodas and a coffee and tea station. What really impressed me is how kind she was to my family. My 4 year old and 22 months old are not always the easiest to keep quiet or settled in a restaurant and she brought out a box of toys full of trucks and other toys to entertain them and even pulled up a tractor seat type chair to see if my little guys would like to sit on it. She did everything with a warm smile. I felt like I was having lunch with family with the special attention we got and the kind words we received. Thank you Becky for being good to my family, you have no idea how much this meant , it's the little acts of kindness that mean the world. I am so thankful I have met you and look forward to visiting you again (hopefully soon! And for breakfast!!!)Becky's kitchen does not have an indoor bathroom, it has a outhouse (Porta Potty) that my 4 year old had to visit twice.( He was impressed with the bathroom accomodations and the wooden spoon handle to lift up the seat)I am so thankful Becky and her establishment are in our area! Keep up the great work and keep smiling! Many blessings to you and your family!“
“Great meal in a relaxed, historically preserved building. The pork shank was beautifully presented and tasty served with basic french fries. The Chilean sea bass was perfectly co I ked served with a sweet sauce over garlic mash potatoes. The house pesto vingarette served with the salad was remarkable. Devon was attentive and pleasant.“
“Excellent option for smoked and bar b q food and menu includes non smoked or bbq options for those in your dinner party that prefer other options. All the food was really good. Tasty bbq sauce options on the table to add to your dinner selection if desired. Really nice atmosphere and interior with plenty of beautiful natural finshed wood and live edge accents and tables. New is the Harvey's Brew Pub options with micro brew beer, wine, several cocktails and even a guest brewer tap. Crowlers are available for takeout. When the weather is nicer there are nice outdoor seating options. They also offer takeout options. Good parking available in their lot behind the building.Parking: Nice free parking lot on site behind the building. Also free street parking in front on main street and also street along side of location.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu with several options for 10 and under.“
“The good ole fashioned diner's like this need to be around till the end of time.? My wife and I just moved back from Florida last week, born and raised in Lancaster County. We went here on Sunday and it was wonderful!! Great people, wonderful staff, our waitress was awesome and fun!! The food was GREAT, tasty and wonderful portions!! We love diner's and Hallamshire is now already a favorite we will patronize many more times to come!!“
“This restaurant is located on the shores of the Susquehanna River. The views are awesome!!! We eat in the full service restaurant. My shrimp and grits were out of this world crazy good. Our service was attentive and they accommodated our desire to eat a slow paced dinner. There is a bar with live music and an outdoor bar with a casual menu... The pizza looked great. I will return here again.“
“Whenever we're in town for AAU games at spookynook, we make sure we stop in for dinner. It's a no brainer! The staff is cool/chill ?, very pleasant. The food is great.... prices are fantastic. I love the tuna tacos. I met one of the owners, she was so cool. It was refreshing to see an owner mix it up with customers. For watching sports...there are no bad TV angles. That was definitely well thought out. If you want a great experience and great food, REALLY good drinks ??Go there!!! Forget any other restaurant. They're the real deal.“
“Food was FANTASTIC. Had onion rings which were fried perfect and big. Had zesty orange wings which I loved. Others had teriyaki wings and garlic parmesan and loved them. One waitress there and she was very, very nice. Definitely will return.Parking: Parked in the back.“
“From their creative menu to their top tier ingredients, Black Gryphon is a must visit spot for any locals AND out of towner’s. Their fantastic “Chocolate Hot” is extremely noteworthy. From the several dishes I’ve tried, each one has been a home run. Be sure to get your burger “Super Saiyan Style”! Beautiful spot/people, will be back!“
“We came here for our honeymoon! After traveling from Philly, we stopped in Lancaster and asked a local what food they recommend. This was their first pick and they did not disappoint! It looks small, but there is a lot of space inside! It was packed but still had loads of seats to choose from so we could sit around people or find somewhere secluded. There were so many families, it warmed my heart. Our server, Jordan, had great energy, was fast with refills and had so many great recommendations. Our food was hot, fresh, and legitimately the best food we have had in the entire honeymoon. I had the French onion panini and my husband had the crab cakes, and we split some onion rings with spicy crab soup. It blew us away, and they were just the sweetest group ever! If I settled here I know I would end up being one of those couples there every Saturday night because it is worth it!“
“Everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh. The only exception would be the steak. I've tried several dishes with steak (tortellini, tacos) and often the steak is chewy where you have to spit it out because you cant chew it.“
“Went for breakfast and was seated right away. The hostess told us it would be about 15 minutes for us since she HD a large group in the bckroom. However, she would get us drinks. We were not in a hurry, and we were served great hot food quickly after we ordered.“
“So Primanti Bros has been on my list for awhile and I was finally able to try it!!! I was not disappointed at all. We tried all of the drunk duck drinks and liked them all. The Cherry one was a little tart but still delicious. Would definitely eat here again. Lots more items to try on the menu. The pizza looked delicious, that's will probably be next on the list. 100% must try this place!“
“The kids loved it and the food was good.Tried the beyond burger and the fish and chips. I recommend both. The staff was very helpful.Vegetarian options: Had the beyond burger and added lettuce wrap.Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the atmosphere“
“Always love their food, worked there years ago back when it was crazy fun , but the food is still really good was craving my favorite chicken quesidillas and surprised my daughter , always easy to order and pick up if you don't have time to dine in . Plus they serve breakfast all day and all night long. Always a 24 hour go to spot.Kid-friendliness: They are great with kids and when my kids were little and used to tey to act wild noone ever complained. I know they used to give out crayons for coloring.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access ramp“
“My husband and I dined in the catacombs tonight, and it was the best experience we’ve had dining in a long time. The tour was quick and full of fun facts. The catacombs themselves are BEAUTIFUL. As for food, He got the Pork Tomahawk which he said was tender and delicious. I got the roasted chicken which I thought was insanely good. The skin was crunchy but the meat was moist and tender. The mashed potatoes were smooth, with little skin in them, and had great flavor. Side note - MAKE THE RESERVATION! The book up quick!!We will 100% be back again, whether to dine in the gardens/upstairs rooms or the catacombs again. 10/10 recommend“
“We stopped in here after running some errands and were pleasantly surprised. We caught them at breakfast time and overall the service lacked nothing and was attentive. Eggs and bacon were good and beverage never got low and I never had to ask. The ambiance was probably the nicest I have ever seen when getting breakfast. Love the mid to the past and the connecting gift shop is great to gist especially if you have kids.“
“We stopped here by chance after a concert at the American Music Center in Lancaster . At first glance from outside, it just looked like a bar, not seedy, but maybe questionable. Once inside, you felt at home , a nice little neighborhood bar. The food was good and the service was ok and the prices were reasonable. I definitely would stop back in if I was in the area.“
“Stopped for a quick breakfast. Food was decent, just the regular you'd expect for breakfast, eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Potatoes a little greasy. Place is really bland. Like a wide open cafeteria. Didn't feel very cozy if that makes sense.Anyway that's really not important if you're just there to eat.“
“This is a tradition to come to this family friendly location every time we travel back home. So many wonderful memories eating in this favorite spot. One thing that always shocks me is how huge the portions are. Always need to have a take home container.“
“This is a solid, standard American diner in the heart of York. Real blue-collar feel here. Loved the fact there’s a 24/7 breakfast menu provided. I got chicken Parmesan and it hit the spot. The waitress taking care of us was very friendly and it was a nice relaxing time to sit down for a bit.Parking: Ton of shared parkingWheelchair accessibility: Some wheelchair accessible tables“
“This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.“
“Title: Cozy Breakfast Spot in Red Lion, PA: Red Lion Corner CafeReview:⭐⭐⭐⭐☆As someone who typically reviews restaurants in the DMV region, I recently had the opportunity to visit Red Lion, PA and stumbled upon the delightful Red Lion Corner Cafe for breakfast. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, although there were a few areas that could be improved. Let me break it down for you.The food was decent, and I decided to try their cheese, eggs & veggie sandwich. While the flavors were good and the ingredients fresh, I felt that the portion size could have been more generous. It was tasty but lacked that extra wow factor I was hoping for.The service and staff, on the other hand, were exemplary. The team at Red Lion Corner Cafe was friendly, professional, and attentive. They made sure to create a welcoming atmosphere and catered to customers' needs. From the moment I entered until I left, their service remained consistently top-notch.The ambiance of the cafe was cozy and inviting. The interior had a charming rustic touch, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. It was a relaxing environment, perfect for a leisurely breakfast or catching up with friends. I appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, which added to the positive experience. To sum it up, Red Lion Corner Cafe is a cozy breakfast spot in Red Lion, PA. While the cheese, eggs & veggie sandwich could be improved in terms of portion size and taste, the friendly staff and welcoming ambiance make it worth a visit. Whether you're a local or passing through town, consider stopping by for a satisfying breakfast experience.Note: Rating of 4 stars (⭐⭐⭐⭐☆) was given based on the overall positive experience, with room for improvement in the food department.“
“I stopped in here on a whim as I was walking around town and the furnished me with the best French press coffee I have had in a long time. The space feels open with the clatter of conversation. As I waited, I couldn't help myself but look around at the artwork. I loved the artisan work and wares that are available. The cozy atmosphere and delicious coffee hit the spot on a cool, almost spring day.“
“Perfect place to have good food and great beers. Stopped in after a day of hiking and the staff was friendly and helpful. One of the few craft breweries that have off street parking. We will definitely return to try more craft beer flavors and food assortment.“
“The store clerk was very kind ✨I wonder if it's Jimoti's popular restaurant, and it's full by 7pm...What will happen to my last supper in America? Just as I was thinking that, I was guided to the second floor.I wish I had followed my father's advice that ``pasta is recommended''...The pasta was drowning in the thick soup, and the alcohol went on and on as I ate the thick, sticky soup. I ended up drinking a lot of alcohol with the pasta I was given!Mom's main dish is steak salad. picture? Will salad be the main thing? →There was a very large piece of meat sitting on top of the salad.I'm a hamburger!was delicious! But I want to try more things... I can't eat them all...Let me bring you again!“
“If you live near Columbia or Mount Joy, PA you should have heard of this place already. Good food and atmosphere. Recommended ?I personally get the prime rib. I have tried other menu items and am never disappointed.Parking: Right next to the creek which doesn't flood often (since about 2012.)“
“This is an anytime of the day place! Great for a quick business meeting lunch or finding people to talk to and hang out with if you want something to do any night of the week. All the food is made-to-order and super fresh! Highly recommend!“
“Food is always good and restaurant is always clean! We eat here a few times a year for celebration and my daughter (she loves the bread)but today was a bit different. We went out since it’s been a long week. We had a big emergency earlier in the week being in the ER with our daughter. We had mentioned it to our waiter Denis while having conversation. When he brought our to-go order he made sure to include a little note. This tiny gesture meant so much and something that will brighten my daughters week. Thank Denis for great service and for being so thoughtful!“
“Had a great server who made sure we had plenty of coffee and hot tea. Food was good and actually looked the same as advertised in the photos.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options such as the eggs, pancakes and french toast. There are no vegan options and nothing is labeled as vegetarian. Would be nice if there was a section clearly labeled as vegetarian.Parking: At the York, PA store there is a very large parking lot. There has never been an issue finding parking.“
“We stopped in here on St. Patrick’s Day for drinks. I have been here before, but they have somewhat limited hours, so I just try to stop in if I happen to be in the area and see they are open. This place has a beautiful historic atmosphere indoor, a very nice little patio, good prices, and good vibes.“
