“This place is so underrated. I don't get it, the parking lot is practically empty all the time but this place is legit the best restaurant in the area. The food is always unique, the draft beer selection is second to none in this town (have to go to Lancaster city or Harrisburg to compete with this). Music selection is good, servers are chill... I don't get why this place isn't packed. If u pass thru Etown u need to go to the Black Gryphon.“

“I stop here at least once a week. Their beverages are wonderful...sandwiches aren't bad either. Their soups on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. I had the veggie last week...it was so peppery that I couldn't eat it...I had the Italian Wedding soup this week...that was just a downright disgrace! The broth was so salty and I have never had or made Italian wedding soup with sausage meatballs...there wasn't any chicken to be found and carrots, spinach and orzo were nonexistent. The broth was so dark at first I thought they made a mistake. Lesson learned...next time I want Italian Wedding soup I will make my own.“

“When friends come to town we go to Bully’s. It is the place to go for casual upscale dining in Columbia. I have been taking guests there since Dave and Sherry opened 25 years ago and have always had a great experience. There are always great choices on the menu and the atmosphere is fun and historic. The unique wedge shaped site at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Union Street features plenty of parking and an onsite bakery. The owners are great supporters of the community and have been hands-on in all aspects of the operation. Well appointed guest rooms are available above the restaurant. “Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. “Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.“

“I love the crab fries they are the best ever if a little spicy for some of the kids. I really wish they would bring back the bacon and blue burger that they used to have because I would get that all the time. I like the fact that there is a refill station nearby so I can have one person get a drink while I'm waiting in line.“

“BEST BURGER IN HERSHEY! My wife and I have come to this restaurant many times but it’s the Ole Standby burger that keeps us coming back. We’ve tried many other menu items and have never had a bad meal. The drinks are great, the atmosphere is great, and the service is great. It’s one of our go to date night spots. A reservation is always a good idea as they get busy quick.“

She said she was the waitress there from the time it was opened, many years ago. Food is fantastic! We always went for the breakfast, which came quick and was always delicious! Pricing is very reasonable. The only thing that I would change is, you have to pay cash, no cards. But, I did say it took me back. Thanks Bill, great job!“

“We met 2 other couples for a birthday dinner. It's no smoking in the dining room but the bar allows. All of the servers are great 👍🏻, personal and friendly. I had suicide wings and were dish. So many variations of sauces and dry rubs. Ice cold drafts and the beef sandwiches are killer good and tender. Ordered side of fries and 2 of us couldn't finish. Parking is on the street and if you have to, rear parking lot but about 20 steps to get to the front door. First time and will definitely be back.. real comfy plain. Wear jeans.“

“As a dad who loves watching sports, this was my highlight of the hotel. Nice setup with the TV's and real good food! There was an hour wait for a table, but there's a small arcade plus you can easily see whatever game is on while you wait. If you don't want to wait you can order and take it back to your room. The wait for food alone was only about 25 minutes.“
