“We visited Bullies Saturday evening, 4/9. For starters I had the mussels. Absolutely delicious. I'd go back just for them. My wife had bacon wrapped scallops. They were really good, also. For entrees I had the Kona tenderloin steak. It was perfectly cooked and fork tender. My only issue, it came out barely luke warm. Same for my French fries. I'd call them cold. The roasted brussel sprouts, which I was really anticipating, were tasty, but all but burned and only luke warm. Though I should have said something to the server, I didn't. My bad. My wife's meal, beef tenderloin tips, were perfectly cooked, hot and fork tender, with mushroom and onion gravy. They were on a bed of rice. Dessert was creme brulee and NY cheesecake. Both were very good. I was disappointed with the cheesecake slice, being about half the size of what I consider a normal sized slice. All in all, a tasty meal. I'd return, but in the future insist on a HOT meal, not luke warm.“

We booked on an extremely busy evening that also included another rehearsal dinner - we still felt like the center of attention and food portion sizes were healthy and consistent. Great communication by event coordinators, Tori and Jenn. Made the booking so easy and seamless.“

“The food is to die for, you cannot pick a wrong item! We got the crab dip appetizer, pulled pork entree, crab cake sandwich and the kid's mini dog with fries. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.“

“Had dinner here tonight. Everything was great from the drinks to the food as well as their service. I got the autumn salmon which was perfectly done and paired with the most delicious autumn vegetables. My husband had steak and fries and added a crab cake and loved everything as well. My daughter even gave the deep dish pizza 2 thumbs up! Forgot to take a picture but one of my favorite things about Tony’s is their attention to detail and how beautifully they plate their dishes.“

“Get the crab soup. Amazing. All of us love our dinners. Fish and chips was awesome. Lime cilantro pizza was very tasty with lots of flavors. Crab cakes were very good though a bit on the small side. And the apricot bourbon salmon was scrumptious. Our server was engaging, knowledgeable, and efficient. The creme brulee and the lemon raspberry cake were fantastic! Only downside was the noise level. They could lower it with a few acoustic tiles.“

The Hut Smashburger got rave reviews and as always, the cheesesteak was a hit. Seeing the baby camel and the other animals was an extra treat. “I came here for a trivia night event and had the Sea-duction with a side of green beans and a baked potato. The seafood was tender and well-seasoned. I especially enjoyed the broiled flounder. The baked potato was cooked just right and came with butter and sour cream. I absolutely loved the seasoning on the green beans and they were tender without being overcooked. The service was prompt and friendly, especially with the business of the evening. The dining area was open with an inviting ambiance. We haven’t been there for a few years because we live several hours away, but went out of our way to go today and it was even better than we remembered. Lindsey was our server and was so incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. The food was quick and high quality, and we were very impressed with the craft cocktails. “This is our very favorite restaurant, however due to a very large crowd this evening, we had to sit at the bar. It was nice at first. But our waitress/bartender was a bit rude to us and didn't even check on how our meals came out, offer more beverages, refills and did not offer dessert. We usually tip very well but didn't this time. The crowd had really dispersed by the time we had our meals so there was really no excuse for the bad service. We will continue to go back of course becasue we love it there but hoping for a better experience.“

“About a year ago, I went to John Wright Restaurant for Sunday brunch with a group of friends. I didn’t know what to expect, but the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beautiful waterfront scenery and the stunning, rustic building. The brunch was absolutely delicious—so many options, including my personal favorite, eggs Benedict. Fast forward to last night: I stopped in for happy hour with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar. It was surprisingly comfortable and not overcrowded at all. The two bartenders were fantastic—warm, funny, and attentive. And the cocktails… OH MY GOSH. Just try them. You’ll thank me later! We ordered the calamari and crab risotto small plates, and they were so good that we immediately ordered a second round of the exact same thing. “We stopped in at the Red Pin Bar & Grill for a Friday evening date night, and it turned out to be a great choice. RPBG offers a complimentary appetizer of pretzel bites with honey mustard for every table, which was a nice touch to start the evening.
I ordered their signature chili with cheese, and it was outstanding—rich, flavorful, and with just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. Easily one of the best bowls of chili I’ve had. My wife went with the chicken quesadillas and said they were very enjoyable.
Our server was friendly and attentive. Even though she was clearly busy, she made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and a local band playing in the background added to the overall vibe.
Overall, we had a great experience at RPBG and are already planning to return soon.“

“Spring/summer/early fall Friday night live band nights are always fun. Recently discovered the Birds Nest Deck to watch the Eagles games and I won’t watch them anywhere else now. I believe there has been a change of ownership since the past (2021) and I definitely think they are moving in the right direction.“

“I've eaten here a number of times and, I think they switched over to using smash burgers so, two patties is recommended. Today, they had our hamburgers sitting on the counter getting cold until the fries were done, Bummer. Fries were good.“

“Had two sandwiches, the Reuben and a chicken salad on cranberry walnut bread. Delish. Other restaurants could take lessons from them on how to make a Reuben. Where they fell short was with the overpriced drinks, Autumn rum runner and a martini. The martini came with a 2" square ice cube and not much drink. They need to take lessons from Penn's Tavern Restaurant on how to make a rum runner. No one has beat theirs yet.“

We saved room for dessert and got a grilled peach muffin and coffee. KILLER! Very friendly staff, and exceptionally clean throughout. Can’t wait to go back and try breakfast.“
