I love everything about Fox Meadows. The lunch, salads, soups and burgers are my favorite! Of course the ice cream is delicious and their chocolate chip cookies are the best!
My husband and I were on a small getaway and discovered this treasure. I am an ice cream lover and must tell you that this is hands down the BEST ice cream I ever had. My husband profoundly agrees! He wanted to go again before we left but it wasn’t possible. We’re already trying to plan another trip down just to go to Fox Meadows. Also, the staff was so friendly. Fox Meadows Creamery offers some of the best locally made ice cream in Lancaster County, with a wide variety of flavors that change about once a month. The staff is always amazing, friendly, and kindhearted, and the pricing is reasonable. Customers can enjoy generous scoops topped with chocolate buds, with plenty of seating both indoor and out, including a back deck and a playground for children. Popular flavors include cookie doughlicious, birthday cake (a favorite with real pieces of cake), brookie dough, cookies & cream, and chocolate comfort. A must-try is the baked fox, described as so amazing it completes life. The shop also stocks items from local vendors, offers ice cream tubs to take home, and serves food until 2:30. While there can be a wait during busy times, especially in summer, the delicious creamy ice cream makes it worth it. The cozy environment and cute gift/snack shop add to the experience.
