“Food: The food (for the most part, there are a couple of items on the menu I'm personally not a big fan of) is pretty good & comes in nice big serving sizes (again, for the most part).

Price: It's generally about the same price or a bit cheaper (depending on what you get) as most fast food restaurants, except this is a diner/cafe & you are getting a decent bit more food per dollar.

Building/ Parking: It's a pretty tiny building with pretty limited parking (you can always find some parking somewhere nearby), but it's clean & decently maintained.

Staff: They're cool people, nothing extraordinary, but also nothing bad I've experienced so far (I've been several times).

Overall: This place is pretty good. If you are looking for breakfast (or potentially lunch) in Middletown, (from my experience) either here or the Brownstone Cafe are your best options (If you have a big party like 6+, I'd probably go to the brownstone, but just 1-4, here is really nice & there's typically not much of any wait like the Brownstone).

“I had the Turkey sub and my daughter had the cheese steak Stromboli. The Stromboli is large enough for two people and the sub was full of fresh Turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The bread was fresh and tasted so good. 10/10 would recommend and going back soon“

“We came here on a Saturday evening in August because a band we like was performing here that night.

We sat inside near the stage area. The place is pretty big and they have an outdoor patio. Some people we knew were there so we sat with them at a table. There was a bar there and I think an additional bar on the other side of the area we were in if I remember correctly.

We ordered drinks and meals. The menu was mostly your typical bar food - burgers, pizza, sandwiches and such. We had the baked haddock and wings. The food was good. The bartender/server was friendly but service was slow and we noticed that she was handling the whole inside bar and tables in the area we were sitting in plus the patio and not just making drinks, she was taking food orders too. Someone else brought the food out but I was surprised that she was doing all of that herself. Not sure if they were short staffed or Saturdays maybe aren’t that busy. She was hustling for sure. We weren’t waiting a very long time but we did miss a drink order and we went to the bar to settle up when we were ready to go. No real issues but noting it.

The band was good. The atmosphere was laidback and upbeat. People were dancing and having a good time. This is a great place for live music.

Prices were comparable to similar bars/restaurants in the area. They have a big parking lot and there were plenty of spaces open.

“We came here for dinner after a tournament my daughter had today. Food was so so good . We had a brisket wood fire pizza , salad and my daughter had a chicken sandwich. We were waited on by Betsy . So nice and super helpful when it came to helping us pick from their menu / beer selection since it was our first time here . Would definitely recommend!“

“I took my daughter and a friend to Harvest Restaurant, and we had such a wonderful evening! It was a chance to spend time together, enjoy good conversation, and try some of the fall menu. Between the seasonal dishes and my favorite Harvest burger, this meal gave us plenty to enjoy.
The soup was a delicious start to the evening. I enjoyed every bite, and it was exactly the kind of comforting dish I was hoping for while exploring the fall menu. Sometimes a starter becomes just as memorable as the main course, and this soup certainly deserved its moment. It set a lovely tone for the rest of our meal.
The pear and goat cheese flatbread was another highlight and truly helped make the meal. I loved the combination of the pear with the goat cheese—it felt like such a fitting choice for a fall evening. It was a pleasure to try something seasonal alongside a familiar favorite, and this is a dish I would happily order again. If you’re visiting to sample the fall menu, it deserves a place on your table.
Of course, I couldn’t pass up the Harvest grass-fed burger. It’s my usual order for a reason, and once again, it was delightful! As much as I enjoy trying different dishes, there’s something satisfying about returning to a favorite and being reminded why you keep ordering it. For me, the Harvest burger is that choice, and it was a wonderful way to round out the meal.

“My husband and I dined here last night. it was our first experience at The Mill,and everything was spectacular. I chose the porterhouse bone-in pork chop,while he had the seasonal duck. Complained to waitress who said it had to be that way so they could hear in the back for take out orders. The restaurant was far from busy for in house dining so I guess the owner doesn't care about us; only the take out customers!
