“Food: The food (for the most part, there are a couple of items on the menu I'm personally not a big fan of) is pretty good & comes in nice big serving sizes (again, for the most part).

Price: It's generally about the same price or a bit cheaper (depending on what you get) as most fast food restaurants, except this is a diner/cafe & you are getting a decent bit more food per dollar.

Building/ Parking: It's a pretty tiny building with pretty limited parking (you can always find some parking somewhere nearby), but it's clean & decently maintained.

Staff: They're cool people, nothing extraordinary, but also nothing bad I've experienced so far (I've been several times).

Overall: This place is pretty good. If you are looking for breakfast (or potentially lunch) in Middletown, (from my experience) either here or the Brownstone Cafe are your best options (If you have a big party like 6+, I'd probably go to the brownstone, but just 1-4, here is really nice & there's typically not much of any wait like the Brownstone).

“I had the Turkey sub and my daughter had the cheese steak Stromboli. The Stromboli is large enough for two people and the sub was full of fresh Turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The bread was fresh and tasted so good. 10/10 would recommend and going back soon“

“Came here with a group of at least 25 and staff treated us nicely and with efficiency. They served us relatively quickly and the server was super nice. The food was good, my friends got the steak which was a tad bit overcooked, and the mashed potatoes were inedible, and the broccoli was mushy, other than that, very decent food. We also had people get the Black Peppered Seared Tuna Steak which was decent, and the Philly Cheese Steak Potato which was said to be amazing. I got the Old Bay seasoned traditional wings which were delicious. The fries were also very fresh. They also had some arcade games and slot machines. Overall, decent sports bar👍“

“My husband and I dined here last night. it was our first experience at The Mill,and everything was spectacular. I chose the porterhouse bone-in pork chop,while he had the seasonal duck. “Came here for lunch with a friend and had a great time. Our server was warm and attentive throughout, checked in at the right moments and gave genuinely helpful suggestions when we were deciding what to order.

Started with the clam chowder, rich, well seasoned, good chunks of clam, perfect for a lunch starter. For mains, the halibut was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist. The shrimp was also excellent, fresh without being overcooked.

“We were invited to the friends and family breakfast the day before opening. We were all absolutely floored by this place and have already made a new tradition to come every sunday! The wait staff and INCREDIBLE, they are so sweet and so speedy! They were so considerate, turned the fire place off for us, and talked with our kids. The restaurant is clean, calm, almost beachy feeling. The most important...the food was absolutely amazing AND at an incredible price. The portions are large and VERY affordable, while looking and tasting like high end breakfast. This place makes you feel rich, and will thankfully not give your bank account the bill.“

Complained to waitress who said it had to be that way so they could hear in the back for take out orders. All of our entrees including Burger, Pimento Cheese Chicken Sandwich with fries, Salad, fried egg rolls, and Bavarian pretzel was all very good. Our server was attentive and friendly yet not overly pesky. We sat outside on a hot day but wasn’t too bad due to the shade and high speed fans. “Bills takes me back to a time when I was a young child. It's a beautiful old restaurant. The staff are fantastic, especially the older lady who waited on us. She said she was the waitress there from the time it was opened, many years ago. Food is fantastic! We always went for the breakfast, which came quick and was always delicious! Pricing is very reasonable. The only thing that I would change is, you have to pay cash, no cards. But, I did say it took me back. Thanks Bill, great job!“
