“After a day of traveling, we were happy to find Black and Bleu. It was early on Friday night and the parking lot was packed, a good sign. The crab ravioli was delicious. The ravioli was made with crab, topped with a lovely cream sauce, spinach and more crab, all of which seemed high quality. It was delicious and a great value at $18. Back home, it would have at least been a $30 dish! The service was quick and friendly. We’d definitely recommend!“
“What a lucky find! We stopped en route to Maryland and they could not have been nicer. The service was fantastic, and they were able to accommodate the disabled members of my family without question or hesitation, even opening a different section of the restaurant for us to all be able to sit at a table together. The food was brought out quickly, our drink refills were ready before we even asked, and I had the best diner burger I've had in years. I highly recommend this place!!“
“I had been wanting to try Thea since they opened and finally had a chance to go for dinner last night. Overall, Thea was a great experience! The appetizers were my favorite. We got the calamari and fried buratta (which was a special). My entree was the meatloaf which wasn't as great as I had hoped, but also not bad. I want to go back and try a pasta dish next time and also dessert (they all sounded fantastic). Reservations recommended and BYOB!“

“I will start this review out saying that I had been looking forward to visiting this place for weeks! That said my expectations were pretty high. I love their root beer and every time I come to PA I grab multiple six packs to take home. That said the experience of the restaurant was kind of lackluster. The food was pretty good, thank God they had a vegetarian option to switch out Patty's on the burger, that was a huge plus. However we arrived with a six year old and no children's menus were ever supplied, we had to ask if they had anything for kids, which we found out they do have kids menus, which made my kid happy, however we didn't see the menu itself just ordered the chicken strips off of it. The server was nice and helpful but not very attentive. I had asked if I could buy the glasses that our drinks were in, a good cheap souvenir for 3.50 a pop! I was pleased at that. At the end of our visit I had paid our bill with the QR code and apparently the site didn't charge me the correct amount so I had to pay again. However my bank showed three transactions. They told me two had been voided and to wait a couple of days for it to be refunded. That ordeal is why I gave four stars, since it was kind of annoying if their tech is not up to par why offer it?All in all I will go back just bc I love the root beer. Hopefully their tech issues will be resolved next time.“
“Food was great and portions were very generous. I got the biscuits and gravy and it was so good.. The server said that they were both made fresh in house daily and you could tell. I ended up taking half mine home there was so much. Prices felt a little high for a "diner" but in the end you really did get your money's worth. Will definitely go again.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere. They do have a kids menu and crayons, which kept my littles occupied. Food also arrived very quickly for the entire table, which was great with two hungry kids waiting.“
“The food is always on par with the price, especially the portions. Even it’s a bit pricier than some restaurants but amount of food you get is worth the price.Service has always been good. Only small issue here or there but it’s rare.Atmosphere is great if you go during lunch on a weekday or Sunday. But if you go at night time, especially on weekends; it gets LOUD.Parking: Good number of parking spot, but when it’s really busy at night; may have a harder time finding parking spots.Kid-friendliness: It’s good for family during lunch time. “Place located in a strip mall on Simpson ferry road. Establishment from the outside looks ok, the inside looks a little run down with booths and broken tile. The people at the counter were very nice and the pizza I got was very good. Came out hot and on time. The price was about what's to be expected with inflation. Definitely worth coming here and getting your pizza kicks!“
“Love this place! Food is great, priced right, and always have had exceptional service! We sat at the bar a few days ago and a long haired gentleman really took care of us well. One of the owners is also right there getting you anything you need. Sometimes they are out of certain beers but what do you expect with a small batch system. Oh and chicken and waffles on sundays is killer. Overall great place, cool atmosphere in the nicer days! Keep up the good work guys!“
“Cozy smaller place with typical pub food. Plenty of booths for private dining. Being a person always looking for brewing specialities, I was disappointed but there's always at least one or two local favorites. Kudos to our server Bob. “Kindest folks I've come across in a long time. Being by myself, I sat at the bar so not to take up table space. One of the cooks was having dinner and we had good conversation. He was proper and kind. The bar tendress was very kind and didn't skip a beat being as busy as they were. There was a young lady that was taking out the pickup orders and when I asked her a question she had no problem stopping to assist me. All had great spirits and made me feel so comfortable. The next time I go through the area I will stop in again for such great service. BTW, The steak was perfect.“
“The service was impeccable. Super nice servers and really hardworking and friendly. My husband loved the food and my son loved that they offered coloring books as we waited for our food. You can tell everyone here is like family. I will definitely be returning.Kid-friendliness: Was a “bar” like atmosphere but still brought my son coloring books and a box of crayons. They go above and beyond what a typical chain restaurant does for kids.“

“I had the salmon salad with their vinaigrette dressing. The dressing was different from what I'm used to, but it was very good. The waiter was very nice and came back a couple of times to see if we needed anything and to refill drinks. The others that I was with, had chicken wings, that looked deli it and the waffle fries looked good, too. The ambiance, what can I say it is a bar/restaurant at a golf course, but very nice pace.“

“pizza was the best thing on the menu. waitress (adora?) was the best part of the whole experience. larger party of 6, so we got to sample a variety of food. rest of the food was lackluster but pricing and quantity were very good - no one left hungry. toasted italian sub was terrible. adult grilled cheese was a hit. fried fish and chips was average - very oily - almost as if it wasn't properly drained on a rack. fried zucchini was good per the vegetarian. mac and cheese - hard to mess up mac and cheese. bottom line: Stick with the pizza which there are many varieties at this place.Kid-friendliness: very family friendly layout and large tables, a lot of open area“
“Chill old school diner atmosphere. Options for tables, booths, and diner bar. Waitresses were hustling and on top of it. The disappointment of the lack of creamed chipped beef on the menu (our fault for not checking) was quickly extinguished when we saw the specials boards. They do have it sometimes on special. Food came out quick and was delicious. Fairly cheap in price too. Will be back to try their lunch sometime!“

“We visited on a Tuesday evening. The bar and dining area was a little busy, but we were seated right away. The food was delicious, but the ticket time was a bit slow. Four of us ordered the smash burgers. It was worth the wait. The atmosphere is cozy- eclectic. I recommend.“
