“Our group tried to make reservations for March 16, 2024. This business was called and a female answered and stated the Manager would call back, he never did. She called back and the male manager answered and stated that he called her back two days prior. She only called the day before. Then he said he called he back the day she called and she told him that he did not. So a lieing manager. We we had 15 people interested in coming to your establishment, I would think it would have been a couple hundred dollars, but you refused us. YOUR LOSS. Hopefully anyone from our group will never patronize your business. It would have been my first time since we are driving to meet the others that are from Duncansville/Altoona area. I would give you a ZERO review. The business down the street was more than happy to accommodate us with open arms. YOUR LOSS!“

“We visited on a Tuesday evening. The bar and dining area was a little busy, but we were seated right away. The food was delicious, but the ticket time was a bit slow. Four of us ordered the smash burgers. It was worth the wait. The atmosphere is cozy- eclectic. I recommend.“

“Late to the party with this review, but a couple of weeks back I met my nephew, Daniel, and his girl Lauren, along with Michael and a friend from scouts. We had capped off a scout trip to Gettysburg with a day at Hersheypark, and then we were invited to dine at The Millworks before the ride home.We started with tbe Fried Brussel Sprouts. Memory is a little faded on these, and unfortunately they're not listed on the online menu, and I don't have a completely accurate memory of the ingredients, but it was something like bacon, sliced apples, cranberries, apple cider reduction...whatever it was, man they were awesome, and I'd like them again.I had the 16 Hour Ramen. I really could've done a dozen other things, and would've liked a couple of more appetizers and maybe a pizza or two passed around the table, but I had a long drive home ahead of me and I didn't want to be stuffed. Anyhow, the ramen was fantastic. It had a nice rich broth, and was topped with an egg that was runny on top and fried crispy on the bottom for a really nice blend of textures. It also featured noodles, kimchi, toasted peanuts, watermelon radish, pea shoots, cilantro, amd homemade hot sauce. Anyhow, on top of the rich broth, the dominant flavors here were from the smoked brisket, roasted peanuts, and the kimchi. What an amazing mix of flavors it was, too. Not something I ever would've thought too mix up, but it sure worked. The boys had the House Cheeseburgers, described as; wood grilled cheeseburger, tomato jam, bistro sauce, cooper sharp cheese, lettuce, onion, half sour pickles, on a local brioche bun with house made potato chips. Both elected to top their burgers with bacon and fried egg. From what I saw , the burgers were a perfect medium rare, and Michael, who is a bit of a burger connoisseur, declared his one of the best ever. I did manage to snatch a couple of homemade chips, and they were still warm and crispy, with flavors of sea salt, pepper, and celery seed in the topping.Nephew Daniel had a wood fired pizza with italian sausage and tomato, and topped with fresh arugala. Looked fantastic, and again made me wish we had sampled a couple more, and Lauren enjoyed the Apple Spinach Endive salad, with honeycrisp apple, shaved fennel, gorgonzola, shaved celery, toasted pecans, endive, frisee, and baby spinach, dressed in a hot honey balsamic vinaigrette. Unfortunately I didn't snap a shot of this one, but it too looked excellent.Neat thing about The Millworks is that it is also a functioning art gallery and studio space. The walls are lined with works for sale, and on the second floor, even on a Sunday evening, several artists in residence were working on creating and peddling their wares. If you happen to be in Hersheypark, or Harrisburg or Gettysburg, and you need something a little better than the carny food, The Millworks isn't far off, and the quality makes it well worth the drive. Prices are sort of mid range, with a few higher end items that are reflected in price. But a broad range of sandwiches, salads, and pizzas,(which could feed two, especially with an app or salad, too,)are under are under twenty bucks. Service was prompt and friendly, and it's definitely a welcoming place to come hang out.Oh, and I almost forgot, and I have no review, but there is an on-site brewery as well. Some of the choices were quite interesting. Our hosts for the evening however were non drinkers, as we're my two boy scout guests, and figured I should be also, as I had a three hundred mile ride home scheduled after dinner. But next time, and there will be a next time, I'll sample a couple of those fresh brews, too.“

“Small hole in the wall feel. Food was good. Next time I could use some salt on the fries. I had their prime rib sandwhich. The toasted buns really made that sandwich stand out and it was very tasty! Definitely will be going back to try their award winning wings! I will make an update once I try them. Overall, I would definitely recommend and curious to see how it is when I go back.“

“A very tiny deli with a limited menu and the traffic of customers were endless. They only have 3 bar stool tables inside and two outdoors. A corner location across from the capital. Staff friendly and helpful as I told them I have never been there before. I had the corned beef and had it just as recommended on menu, very good.“

“The food was delicious. There were 6 of us who tried different entrees and everyone's food was great. Desserts were also amazing! Service was good despite how busy they were. There was a live band playing which added to our enjoyment. We'll be back!“

“Had a great brunch here with my mom! I got the eggs Benedict and mom got the veggie skillet. Both were delicious! For drinks I got the espresso martini, which was good, but our fav was the Lusca. It had a nice kick to it! Highly recommend! Will def be coming back with hubby.“

“Stopped in to grab a casual dinner. It’s reminiscent of an Irish pub with dining. They even have a little fireplace in the back- it may be electric but still a nice touch. My server Ari was so sweet and attentive. She took great care of me. It’s customer service like this that makes me come back and tell others. I ordered the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. It was a large portion and tasted great. She even sold me to bring some house made berry cheesecake with me for later tonight. Pricing was reasonable, service was great, and the vibe was great. What’s not to like?“
“Wide variety of shops. Ice cream, subway, laundromat, Joey's chicken shack, tmobile, leather surplus, vape shop, dollar general, Chinese food, bar/restaurant with live music, hair salon, nail salon, yoga studio, and others. Very well maintained and pleasant plaza to visit.“

“We had reservations for Valentine’s Day dinner and the experience could not have been any better. Our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks were very good. The food was absolutely delicious. I had been here before and knew the food was good so I was expecting that and was not disappointed. We would have tried dessert but we had other plans. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Parking is in the street or across the street in a city garage. Check Harrisburg parking authority for days/times/rates. Stock’s ownership also owns Carley’s Piano Bar around the corner so be sure to check them out as well.Dietary restrictions: I’m sure they would accommodate any requests zParking: Easy parking on the street or in the garage across the street. Check Harrisburg parking authority for days/times/ratesWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in and there is plenty of space to maneuver a walker/wheelchair but I would call to confirm.“

“Today was the first time ever being here! The chef clearly is passionate about food! Everything was absolutely wonderful! It is a small space so reservations would probably be best. The bartender Ariana was a blast and definitely has a passion for making specialty cocktails! Definitely a 10/10 place to dine.“

“Good food and service. Soup lovers beware! The bowl of soup is the EXACT amount as the cup of soup! I ordered a cup of soup and asked for an empty bowl. When I poured the cup in it it filled the bowl! Also, I was charged $3 for a small foam cup of iced tea for my three-year-old granddaughter, which is a bit ridiculous!“

“I stopped going to places like dennys, ihop, and other diners like squeaky rail because the service here is amazing. I never feel judged, talked down to or embarrassed. The food here is great. I usually only ever get breakfast at diners but they dropped the lunch menu and I saw some awesome menu items. Chille rellenos and enchiladas. Love Mexican food and they do it right here. ❤️“

“Had reservations for 6 of us. 2 of them had never been here. Wasn't a very good first impression. Once we were seated our drink order was taken rather quickly. We probably sat 30 mins before the waitress came to take our order after asking us if we needed more time. She then excused herself to go to the restroom after telling us she had been there since 10am and didn't have time to go. She could've just gone since we already waited for 30 mins without sharing that. When she returned she went across the dining room instead of coming to take our order. 3 of us got the fish and chips and were very pleased with the size of the fish. But charging .75 for tarter sauce? That's like a condiment and most people use that on fish. 1 of the ladies ordered a bacon cheeseburger. No bacon on the burger. Entrees with 2 sides don't include fries. Instead there's an upcharge of $1.00 or more. Never been to a restaurant where they offer baked or mashed potatoes but you pay extra for fries. Very disappointed with our visit.“

“We had such an awesome experience eating at the Barn while staying on the property. Everyone loved their meals but highlights were the chicken and grits and filet. Hand stuffed blue cheese olives for the perfect martini. We'll be back!“

“So we finally made it back to Snappers Bar & Grill we decided on an early meal & we are seated in the Lounge! It's a little noisier but not to the point where you can't hold a conversation or enjoy your dinner! My wife ordered the Cheeseburger Wrap Black Angus hamburger, lettuce, tomato, pickles American cheese. and mayo wrapped in flour tortilla with Sweet Potato Fries I ordered the Bacon Jam Shrimp Burger 7 oz. Black Angus burger with fried shrimp, bacon jam and gouda cheese. Served on Brioche Roll with lettuce and tomatoes with Onion Rings Dara our server was very pleasant and hospitable and helped us decide with the intriguing menu items! Not your usual Grill/Bar We definitely won't be putting off our next visit!“
