“Today while shopping at Wegmans in Chestnut Hill, I had the unfortunate experience of feeling faint. I immediately took my mask off, but that did not help. In fact, as I tried to make my way to the cashier, I found myself feeling more light headed, unable to see well and very dizzy. I just said out loud, I need a doctor. A wonderful woman heard me and yelled for a doctor and the answer came. An anesthesiologist who happened to be in the check out area responded and took me with the support of store personnel to sit down. While there, he made sure I was ok and got me some water and checked my pulse etc. The next thing I recall is the manager Brian showed up. Eventually, Brian took over and stayed with me as I recovered. He made what seemed like a terrifying experience more manageable. He got me a second glass of water and when I was ready, he walked me to my car and made sure my groceries that he checked out for me were with me. I called him when I arrived home and let him know I was safe. A big thank you to all who supported me today simply does not seem like enough but I am so grateful to everyone who was there. Your kind, compassionate shoppers and staff are remarkable. Thank you!“

“First time eating here, on our way home from Myrtle Beach, and I will eat here again when I’m in the area. The food, prices and fast service was beyond exceptional!! I may even drive there just to eat their delicious food!! We even got hoagies to go!! The salad was delicious and the portions were generous! They’re located just off the route 15 corridor in Mechanicsburg.“

“Honestly it’s one of the best pizza shops around. The pizza is delicious, not greasy, perfect amount of cheese and sauce all laid on great quality dough. If you have a night where you just don’t feel like cooking, I’d order from Palumbo 👌🏼“

“Our group tried to make reservations for March 16, 2024. This business was called and a female answered and stated the Manager would call back, he never did. She called back and the male manager answered and stated that he called her back two days prior. She only called the day before. Then he said he called he back the day she called and she told him that he did not. So a lieing manager. We we had 15 people interested in coming to your establishment, I would think it would have been a couple hundred dollars, but you refused us. YOUR LOSS. Hopefully anyone from our group will never patronize your business. It would have been my first time since we are driving to meet the others that are from Duncansville/Altoona area. I would give you a ZERO review. The business down the street was more than happy to accommodate us with open arms. YOUR LOSS!“

“Had the mild wings and the gyro. Wings are not overly sauced or breaded. They were so good I went back the next day to order them again lol. Then I got the gyro. It was delicious with lettuce, tomato and a sauce. Food was awesome. Staff is very straight to the point but nice. I'd continue to go back 😁“

“I had such a wonderful, unexpected experience at this pizza place! By chance, I met the owners and they invited me and my husband to try their pizza, and it is now definitely my favorite pizza I’ve ever had! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and every bite showed the care they put into it. The prices were comparable to corporate owned chains but the quality was astronomically better than any other place I’ve been to. Having moved here from the West Coast I have been enjoying the opportunity to try new restaurants especially cuisine not as easy to come by back in our hometown. The owner spun the dough right in front of us, and it was clear how proud he is of his restaurant. He welcomed every customer with genuine warmth, making the atmosphere truly enjoyable. It felt like an authentic Italian experience, full of heart and passion. I can’t wait to go back and I am happy to know they even offer delivery! Looking forward to trying other items on their menu as well!“

“We had an amazing experience at Massimo’s Italian Bakery! The food was absolutely incredible — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor — but what truly stood out was the owner’s kindness and knowledge. We have an obscure food sensitivity in our family, and the owner personally took the time to go over ingredients with us and help verify what was safe to eat. That level of care and attention is so rare and deeply appreciated. It made the experience completely stress-free, and we were able to fully enjoy some of the best Italian food we’ve had. “This is basically my go to pizza hut. Order there a lot. Pizza is always hot n fresh. Bread sticks are soft and good. Not hard like other pizza huts. Staff is always friendly. Clean floors. Not dirty at all. Never say in the dinning room, so can't speak to much on that. But I've always had great service n food at this pizza hut. Pizza is made perfect. Not over done or under cooked. Perfect. Highly recommend this pizza hut.“

“Best tuna salad sub I've had in a very long time. SUPERB fresh baked roll. Not hard crust! I don't eat much bread anymore but, that was mmmmmm good. Tony's chicken or veal Piccata is my favorite entree' there. Lobster raviolli is my 2nd place entree'. Go enjoy a great dinner at this well priced great service establishment.“

He delivered my food with so much care and kindness, I started to believe people might still love their neighbors and enjoy their jobs.
