What a fantastic experience! I rarely ever leave a review but I was so motivated by such a wonderful evening that I was inspired to leave one. Staff are knowledgeable, super personable, and the gentleman who I think was perhaps the owner stopped by to chat and tell us about some dishes, such as the salmon he cut himself that morning. The 1762 has delicious food, friendly service and a quaint atmosphere. We tried the bacon bleu burger, chicken and waffles handheld and peanut butter pie. The food portions were filling and the flavor combinations were delicious! At the end of our meal the owner stopped by to ensure our meal was excellent. Highly recommend The 1762, we'll be back.
