“This is one of the best diner style restaurants in the Harrisburg area! I have been going for years and have never been disappointed or served a bad meal. The service is also great and very friendly!”
“Omg! I’ve been looking for a place near me that I love. Look, I am not a fan of Tonys pizza at all. They never wear gloves and are not friendly. This place appears to be family owned. I love when I go in there and it’s the couple working. They are so clean and friendly. The food is really good but don’t forget the hidden gem in there! There desserts! Absolutely above all! I hope the family makes them fresh but either way they are sooooo good! Thank you Roma for providing me a place to keep coming back to. If it’s for those huge slices, or fresh subs, or desserts, it worth every penny!”
“We brought a pretty large group here during lunch and they were very accommodating. Their service was great and despite our large party and it being a busy time, they got our food out quickly. The pizza slices were huge. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was amazing and the cannoli was the best I've ever ”
“We heard that the Stadium Club opened a new non-smoking section to the bar. It's called the bullpen. Stopped in this morning for breakfast and check out the setup. They did an awesome job with this addition. 11 tables and 6 top bar. Very open area and put together nicely. For breakfast I went with the meat lovers skillet ( hash browns, ham,bacon,sausage,cheese,3 eggs, bed gravy) , wife had the western omelette and we split a single pancake. The food came out really fast and hot. Everything was really good. I will definitely be back soon. Recommend if you're in the area to give them a try.”
“Always a good place to go for dessert. The have a fall flavor that’s amazing called “Pumpkin Concrete “ it’s a pumpkin flavored custard with and Reese’s peanut Take Five. And wiped cream on top. Gummy bears on the side is always a plus :)”
“Stopped here for lunch after test driving a car. Wings were great. I just got the Medium Buffalo style and they were crisp and saucy the way I like them. The fries were served in a paper cone fashion and were a bit bland, needed salt in my opinion but wasnt bad at all. My wife and son got burgers. They said they really liked them. The waitress was the bartender and she handled the bar room and the seated customers just fine.”
“We ordered a 6 foot party sub and it was delicious! The bread was soft and had such a great flavor! It was as ordered and we were given mayo, onion, and lettuce as a side which was nice so we could have it set up next to the sub pieces! Also, best prices around! This will be the go-to spot from now on for subs!”
“The food was AMAZING and at a reasonable price. Delicious house made hot sauce, we needed seconds! Also love the atmosphere there is a little something for everyone. A nice well lit front dining room, a softer cozy second dining room and a sunken room for those who want some evening dance music/karaoke. Great service and friendly staff as well. We had a fabulous kid free girls evening out. They definitely have 2 more family's that will be regulars, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“We stopped in for a quick bite. Much to our delight, everything was beyond our expectations. The service was friendly and helpful. The seating was clean and bright. And the food was delicious. We had gyro burgers and Greek wings. The burger was great and quite large. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and needed to take it home. The wings were cooked well, good quality, and the dipping sauce was an excellent addition. We were so full we took out dessert home, but once we tried it, we discovered that the baklava is fantastic. Highly recommend!”
“Late to the party with this review, but a couple of weeks back I met my nephew, Daniel, and his girl Lauren, along with Michael and a friend from scouts. We had capped off a scout trip to Gettysburg with a day at Hersheypark, and then we were invited to dine at The Millworks before the ride home.We started with tbe Fried Brussel Sprouts. Memory is a little faded on these, and unfortunately they're not listed on the online menu, and I don't have a completely accurate memory of the ingredients, but it was something like bacon, sliced apples, cranberries, apple cider reduction...whatever it was, man they were awesome, and I'd like them again.I had the 16 Hour Ramen. I really could've done a dozen other things, and would've liked a couple of more appetizers and maybe a pizza or two passed around the table, but I had a long drive home ahead of me and I didn't want to be stuffed. Anyhow, the ramen was fantastic. It had a nice rich broth, and was topped with an egg that was runny on top and fried crispy on the bottom for a really nice blend of textures. It also featured noodles, kimchi, toasted peanuts, watermelon radish, pea shoots, cilantro, amd homemade hot sauce. Anyhow, on top of the rich broth, the dominant flavors here were from the smoked brisket, roasted peanuts, and the kimchi. What an amazing mix of flavors it was, too. Not something I ever would've thought too mix up, but it sure worked. The boys had the House Cheeseburgers, described as; wood grilled cheeseburger, tomato jam, bistro sauce, cooper sharp cheese, lettuce, onion, half sour pickles, on a local brioche bun with house made potato chips. Both elected to top their burgers with bacon and fried egg. From what I saw , the burgers were a perfect medium rare, and Michael, who is a bit of a burger connoisseur, declared his one of the best ever. I did manage to snatch a couple of homemade chips, and they were still warm and crispy, with flavors of sea salt, pepper, and celery seed in the topping.Nephew Daniel had a wood fired pizza with italian sausage and tomato, and topped with fresh arugala. Looked fantastic, and again made me wish we had sampled a couple more, and Lauren enjoyed the Apple Spinach Endive salad, with honeycrisp apple, shaved fennel, gorgonzola, shaved celery, toasted pecans, endive, frisee, and baby spinach, dressed in a hot honey balsamic vinaigrette. Unfortunately I didn't snap a shot of this one, but it too looked excellent.Neat thing about The Millworks is that it is also a functioning art gallery and studio space. The walls are lined with works for sale, and on the second floor, even on a Sunday evening, several artists in residence were working on creating and peddling their wares. If you happen to be in Hersheypark, or Harrisburg or Gettysburg, and you need something a little better than the carny food, The Millworks isn't far off, and the quality makes it well worth the drive. Prices are sort of mid range, with a few higher end items that are reflected in price. But a broad range of sandwiches, salads, and pizzas,(which could feed two, especially with an app or salad, too,)are under are under twenty bucks. Service was prompt and friendly, and it's definitely a welcoming place to come hang out.Oh, and I almost forgot, and I have no review, but there is an on-site brewery as well. Some of the choices were quite interesting. Our hosts for the evening however were non drinkers, as we're my two boy scout guests, and figured I should be also, as I had a three hundred mile ride home scheduled after dinner. But next time, and there will be a next time, I'll sample a couple of those fresh brews, too.”
“First time there. We would highly recommend. Everything was delicious. Ordered appetizers and a variety of dishes to share. We loved everything. The best tandoori chicken I ever had. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back again.”
“This place shatters the whole image of "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants. I'm generally vegetarian, no dairy or eggs, either and I really enjoyed the samosa and the yellow dal but my wife got some mango chicken and talked me into trying the sauce on some nan (I know I'm not spelling any of this stuff right) and we both loved it so much that we simply had to order some to take back to the hotel with us for later which they not only were happy to prepare without the chicken, insisting on a discounted price for us, but sent us away with a free mango yogurt smoothie as well. The place is only 40 minutes from our house and we didn't even know it existed. It's very makeshift in furnishings, but comfy, cozy, well-lit, and as friendly as the day is long. There's just no downside to the place!”
“Otis does it right. The food is delicious and if you're looking for the real side of our capital city, drop by and enjoy! It in or take out you won't be let down..! Good people.”
“We eat here regularly and the food is always fantastic. The service is awesome. I particularly like that someone is regularly on "dining room patrol" and they check to make sure you don't need anything and found all the sauces, utensils, etc.”
“Stopped today for the first time. Flavor selection was great. Not too many to choose from making it simple to decide. But enough a choice to please most everyone. The red velvet was the first time I’d seen it as an ice cream. Very difficult flavor to do in baked goods yet alone ice cream. I enjoyed the flavor and got a pint to go. Black raspberry was very good. Teaberry was an option, one of my childhood favorites with my nan. I will be back again…. And again, and again, well, you get it. Ice cream is unfortunately, or is it fortunate, my kryptonite. ?Can’t wait to try other flavors. Thank you, JeffParking: Limited but not bad. Summer time could be challenging.Kid-friendliness: Had a kid atmosphere but I kind of got the feeling it’s ice cream for us big kids too. Lol.”
“Best BBQ in Central PA. The owner and chef is very personable and always makes us feel welcomed. He remembers his customers and interacts with them. The food is always guaranteed to be good. The specials add a nice variety for when you want something different. The “IDK what I want” have never disappointed me! Especially when you’re in a mood or feeling a little indecisive, he always deliver! The portions are good and the prices are reasonable! You can tell and taste that the food is made with love and care. There’s little games to entertain the little (and not so little) ones. Overall really good and highly recommend!”
“I got the chili momo and mint refresher. Both were delicious and the service was great! Also very clean and well kept inside, the atmosphere is very nice if you plan to dine in.”
“Great place for South Indian food in this place and seems to be the only place… came here specifically for the dosas and it turned out to be excellent! With a filter coffee, it turned out be a real good one!!! Though couldn’t try other items, I bet they should be good as they looked good!!! Highly recommended”
“Rarely do I find a steak house that exceeds my expectations. Having been to St. Elmo’s in Indianapolis, the bar is set high. That being said this far exceeded my expectations. The steaks were great, cooked perfectly. The drinks and deserts were world class and I’m honestly shocked even as I write this. Highly recommend, especially given the area. I have tried other local restaurants and nothing comes close. The staff was incredible. The food was brilliant. It’s a 5 star !!”
“I visited here on a Tuesday at 6pm for a work-related and social gathering. The service and food were quite good, yet even on a weekday and being upstairs, the decibel level was rather high dye to it also being a bar. The menu selection was more than adequate and prices reasonable. Street parking can be a challenge, however I found a safe spot about one block away, and parking was free after 5pm on weekdays. The restroom was clean, and I find this important in that if management doesn't prioritize bathrooms, they may not value kitchen cleanliness either, but maybe that's just me. I give it a 4 star and not a 5 due to noise”
“I loved!!The owner is super friendly, the atmosphere is super nice, it is a place with a great story behind it.The food was delicious, the dessert, the house wine, everything delicious.”
“Bhojan Ghar is my favorite Nepali restaurant! The food is authentic and the staff is very friendly. I love the momo, appetizers,, dal bhat, biryani and curry dishes. The mango lassi is great also. My family will definitely return to eat soon!”
“Myself and my family have eaten here many times and they never miss a beat! Great food, service and atmosphere. Eat here you won’t be disappointed. They treat everyone great especially first responders and us Veterans!”
“Fantastic Burgers and Shakes. We got ours and went to Warrington Township Municipal Park since Pinchot lake was so busy. The girl at the window was so nice and our order came out quickly even though they were very busy.”
“First off, denim coffee is one of the only coffee shops in Harrisburg where the baristas are not grumpy and standoffish (in my experience). Jake has served me twice since I’ve found this gem and he is so friendly and professional. Secondly their coffee is delicious and the shop is clean and aesthetically pleasing. #1 in my opinion!”
“Absolutely loved the food, the service had great hospitality and the waiter made you feel very welcomed definitely. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a Turkish restaurant to go to. Easy 5 stars for me!”
“Pizza in the area can be hit or miss but David's is always consistently delicious!! Nice thin crust, cheese has great flavor and the sauce is the perfect blend of savory and sweet. The hoagies are handmade sub rolls and loaded with fresh ingredients. We also enjoy their Stromboli as well. Easy ordering and quick service .. prices are reasonable too. Definitely a must check out joint!”
“Their Ribs are amazing! delicious! fall off the bone tender with the right finger lickin sauce ! best ribs I had in a long time side was cripspy delicious onion rings abs coleslaw that tasted like the kind grandma used to make !”
“Great food, great people, great prices. My go to place for some if the best food around. Moe knows how to treat his customers and make amazing food. Can't say enough good things about Loco Moes!”

“Food and service were good. Took off star because of unchanging, want rye toast , 25 cents extra also service charge for using credit card. They should be more transparent about these fees. My group still enjoyed this traditional styled diner.”
