“Our unplanned dinner here turned out to be one of the treasured experiences of our trip. What a hidden gem this restaurant is! The chef (owner?) greeted us and readied a table for us in the sunroom, which offered a nice evening breeze. Both he and the bartender came to our table to answer questions and give information about the menu, drinks, and how prohibition and local farming influence both. The hamburger, clam po-boy, and crab cakes we got were all delicious and our cocktails were refreshing and unique. As others mentioned, the art displayed is also interesting and fun. This is a wonderful place to try something new, learn something new, and feel like you’ve made new friends.“

Just as I was thinking that, I was guided to the second floor.I wish I had followed my father's advice that ``pasta is recommended''...The pasta was drowning in the thick soup, and the alcohol went on and on as I ate the thick, sticky soup. I ended up drinking a lot of alcohol with the pasta I was given!Mom's main dish is steak salad. picture? “Haven't been here in awhile and wanted to try it out as I have heard they have the best wings around. The staff was very welcoming as the place was more than half full. Sat in the back had a good view of the TV's. The waitress took our drink order. Good selection of beer on tap and bottles. Was back quick with the drinks and we already knew what we wanted. Ordered a dozen wings medium with Parm. Was only a few minutes and they were served. If you don't like celery you can get carrots by the way. The first few where great and then I hit a few that were over cooked and dry. I only had one flat all the others were drums. Sauce was light on my order to the point I didn't have anything in the basket to coat them up with. The other ordered was perfect with no issue. Will go back again. By the time we left the place was full. Kid friend and they have bigger tables for groups. Staff was excellent.Parking: Lot is t the biggest but you can park on the street behind as well.Kid-friendliness: Menu has plenty of options for families. They have two sections, tables in the back and high-top tables around the bar. Some tables have TV's on the wall at the table itself.Wheelchair accessibility: Have spot by the door, can easily accommodate guest coming in and out.“

“Really fun little bar, staff and clientele are great not to mention the owners who go out of their way to make you feel like family. Great entertainment regularly and affordable good food, every town needs a Kadilaks'! Also as a non-sympathetic former smoker, they must've upgraded their smoke eater system as everyone was smoking and I really didn't notice the stench! Also, I had the Italian pit beef sub with fries and both were outstanding!Parking: Parking in the rear and on street“

“I love this bar... yea, I said it. Great local place with excellent food. If you are in the area, it is worth the trip. Super attentive bar tenders, great prices, very good food and selection.This has become a real fav of ours.Don't miss a laid back atmosphere and great local people. “Came in on a random Thursday night, traveling in from out of town. Looking for a spot to get some good Indian food and beer(s). I can say the lamb jalfrezi was on-point. Spicy and flavorful. Slow cooked in the way that’s hard to do from a microwave. Ingredients were clearly fresh. Full bar and decent selection of draft beers and traditional bar food. Seems like a fun neighborhood hangout spot. You’re probably going to need to park on the street or walk. Will return.“

“Parked by this place to walk the river trail with my dog. When we were finishing up our walk, I called in and asked if they allowed dogs on their patio. The guy who answered the phone was really cool and said that not only did they allow dogs outside, but they have water bowls for the pup out there. I walked in, and one of my favorite bartenders that also works at a pace I like to go in York was bartending, which was really fun for me. A lot of people came outside and said hi to my pup, and I had nothing but good conversation. The food was great! The view was great! The prices were great! Can't say anything but good things. “I can't review the course itself but my daughter's wedding reception was held here in October. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, scenic venue then this might be your place. It's located on a high point in Middletown overlooking the Susquehanna River. Three Mile Island and the airport are right nearby (and this worried me a bit) but they don't distract from the beautiful view. The outside deck is gorgeous, unfortunately we had a cold day so couldn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped. But I can imagine it would be a perfect spot for a wedding ceremony (or just a great party) in good weather. The buffet style meal was very tasty, no complaints there, and again the price was quite reasonable. Unfortunately there are a couple of reasons I can't give it 5 stars. There were only 2 serve staff on site for our 80 guests. One tending bar and the other apparently doing everything else. So things didn't get done quite as fast as I would've liked. The other thing that bothered me was the huge stains on the carpet (however when I said something to my mom she hadn't noticed). That being said, in the end it worked out very well and I think everyone had a really good time. I feel like this venue is just a little rough around the edges but has great potential!“

“We stopped here by chance after a concert at the American Music Center in Lancaster . At first glance from outside, it just looked like a bar, not seedy, but maybe questionable. Once inside, you felt at home , a nice little neighborhood bar. The food was good and the service was ok and the prices were reasonable. I definitely would stop back in if I was in the area.“

“got cheeseburgers and fries to go. the meal was PERFECT, even as a takeout. the fries were crispy to perfection, the burgers were cooked exactly as we asked, the portions were generous and the price was reasonable for what we got. this will be our go-to burger and fries place! hope to try other meals in tje future “

“Overall a great experience came for a cheer competition turned into a mini vaca. The hotel layout is definitely confusing and maze like and the room’s slightly dated I was expecting a little more Hershey theme or decorations that made the rooms more kid appealing but other then that they were clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived early to use the water park and our room was ready. If you want easy access to the the water park ask a room on resses level 1. The water park is a decent size my 3 and 11 year old were equally happy and entertained. They have towels in the pool area so no need to pack your own. Also they serve adult beverages in there which is nice or you can bring your own. We came at off season so we didn’t do the mini golf or visit the gardens. We ate at two restaurants both of which were nice staff was friendly. There was also a good amount of activities for the kids.“

“Went there a week or so ago with family that came in from out of town. We had a person with a gluten allergy, but she found the steak salad on the menu and was very happy with it. All of the food was great. The service was fantastic. And the prices were reasonable (for the world we are in right now). Have gone there a few times over the past few years and really don't ever recall having a bad meal or service. We will definitely be going back and really looking forward to trying the all you can eat crab in the summer... that sounds amazing!“

“We attended our fire company's installation banquet here . This was our first year using this venue, and we loved it! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was quick but not at all intrusive. I hope the fire company chooses this location again next year!“
