4 of us got the brisket. All 4 were like old leather. Very dry.... Food was ok at best. Atmosphere was interesting. Almost a fight at the bar. Then a girl could barley walk getting up from the bar to leave. Just not the same.
Went to lunch with a few classmates. Hadn’t been here in some years. The place is uniquely beautiful inside and out. The food and service were great!
My husband and I recently revisited Rising Sun for breakfast on a Friday morning, having previously enjoyed their dinner service, and our morning experience was equally delightful.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Katie R, who was training Jake. They efficiently seated us and promptly took our coffee order (a mimosa for next time is definitely on the radar!). Our food, the avocado toast and Rising Sun sampler, arrived quickly and was delicious.

Rising Sun Bar & Kitchen offers a delightful dining experience with a great taste breakfast BLT and healthy options. The establishment features an excellent wait staff, who serve up fantastic Espresso Martinis and Bloody Marys. The newly renovated building boasts a cool, lively atmosphere with exposed brick and old beams, although it can be quite noisy at times.
The exterior of the restaurant is cute, and the interior is even more impressive. The outdoor area has been beautifully updated, and there is a newly added indoor-outdoor seating and bar area. The design aesthetic is rustic and industrial, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The menu at Rising Sun is delicious, with many options to choose from. The new ownership has done an excellent job, and the service is consistently excellent. Customers have raved about the blackened chicken tortellini, avocado toast, and Rising Sun sampler, all of which have been described as exceptionally good. The restaurant is also known for its outstanding breakfast, including a pizza dish with a cauliflower gluten-free crust that customers have thoroughly enjoyed.
