“Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. You truly helped make their day — and ours — even brighter. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!”

“Be careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers, which can happen with any tavern along the river. About 10 days ago they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. That guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. It was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved. The owner needs to hire some beefy enforcement right now to keep a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere.”

“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!”

Always giving out quality food & serving with a smile 🫶🏼 Daily special - your choice of sub, fries & a drink for $11.99 (we order on the slice app) Subs are always delicious and consistent every single time. We frequently buy the cheesesteaks and Italian subs, 10/10 🤤 Ventured out just recently and grabbed a salad from them & it’s so good!! I got a Caeser salad, added chicken and onion. & it’s incredible!! Absolutely worth the money 🫶🏼 & Honorable mention of my favorite pizza to get from them - the Big Mac pizza. “I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“We had our AAA Insurance team outing at Leisure Lanes and had the food catered by Main St Deli — and WOW. Everything was incredible. The subs were absolutely packed with meat (the kind where you open it and it’s overflowing in the best way). No skimping at all — just fresh bread, generous portions, and so much flavor. Our team kept going back for more. And the Italian pinwheels? Phenomenal. They were such a hit. Perfectly made, fresh, and honestly one of my favorite things on the table. Everything was beautifully prepared and made our team outing feel even more special. Thank you, Main St Deli, for helping make our event such a success. We will definitely be ordering again!”

Not only are your taste buds going to explode with flavor but the staff is so sweet and friendly. They’re quick to approach and get you situated weather it’s take out or dinning in. Lots of younger folks taking the orders, getting you seated and bringing your take out in such a timely manner. It’s also byob.
