Had an afternoon with my girls! The tea and food was amazing!
We had an afternoon tea for a small bridal shower party with a few girlfriends. It was a surprise for her. I cannot think the staff enough for accommodating my gluten-free diet. I couldn’t tell you the last time I had freshly baked bread or desserts of any sort that were that good! The ladies were so charming and invested in us having a good time, we got to take some goodies home to snack on later and we even got to pick out a tea tote/coin purse if we wanted to. (Kimberly Myers here) I've had formal British tea all over the UK, the US, and Scandinavia, and the food for the Downton Abbey-themed tea on July 5 at Manchester Teas and Tarts was the best food of any tea I've ever had--including The Ritz in London. Manchester Teas and Tarts offers delicious food that is reasonably priced. The staff are sweet and knowledgeable, adding to each experience. The collection of beautiful China patterns and serving pieces adds fun to the event. Guests enjoy a fresh scone right out of the oven, and pastries are almost too beautiful to eat. The venue in Marietta is perfect for a tea, with a beautiful setting and atmosphere. The owners provide an authentic experience, with a nice variety of teas and themed events. Whether it is a special occasion like Mother’s Day tea, a bridal party, or a casual afternoon with friends, the food and tea are always delicious. Reservations are required, and many recommend returning for another event.
