“We always came there for crab legs in the past. But we just discovered their amazing brisket and burnt ends. Huge fans! And we just had my family over this past weekend with several lbs of brisket, burnt ends, and sides we made, and everything was GONE! So delish, food was so tender it fell apart, served hot, and loved by all! And the owners are amazing!!!!! Our new fave spot in York and we will be back again and again!!! “Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!”

I think it's very reasonably priced. My daughter and son- in-law took me here for my birthday as they know I really like this place! Hamir even had a special candle for me! “Sooo delicious! Every bite was just so good! Home cooked - the carrot juice was so fresh! Mom was cooking and her daughters managed the table with so much kindness - excellent service. I cannot recommend this place enough. I need to learn the correct names but the stuffed grape leaves were out of this world. I had chicken on their homemade bread - SO good! Go on a weekday if you can they’re super busy on the weekends but wonderful wonderful food!!!!”

“I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“Been to Shanks quite a few times. We moved about 25 min away a little over a year ago and this place doesn’t disappoint. Every time we order drinks and food it’s been solidly consistent. This past Sunday we went for drinks and food at happy hour. 6 dollar Bloodys and 4 dollar pickle shots is a steal and of course I had 2 Bloodys. My wife and I went with the special for food. Bacon egg and cheese on potato bun with a sriracha maple glaze. The star of the show though is always Andi. She’s an amazing bartender. Whenever we go there ( we have to sit at the bar ) and she’s there. We are in for a good time. Keep doing what your doing and we will keep coming back”

“I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ve ate here several times both dinned in and take out and their food is so authentic, so flavorful at such a great price! Not only are your taste buds going to explode with flavor but the staff is so sweet and friendly. They’re quick to approach and get you situated weather it’s take out or dinning in. Lots of younger folks taking the orders, getting you seated and bringing your take out in such a timely manner. It’s also byob. If you haven’t checked this place out, you need to ask yourself why?!?”

“Our son's wedding reception was held here, and it was our first time visiting. I was being a bit nosy about the basement when a gentleman who worked there noticed and kindly asked if we’d like to take a peek. Thank you again — that small gesture showed how much you care about your visitors’ experience. During the reception, a family with three young kids started to get a little bored. That same gentleman came out with a basket of brand-new Matchbox cars and gave each child one. Wow! What a thoughtful and above-and-beyond thing to do. You truly helped make their day — and ours — even brighter. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!”

“My daughter and I stopped in last Sunday for some veggie wraps and coffee. Everything was great from the moment we walked in the door. The coffee shop was immaculately clean, the staff was so friendly and efficient and most importantly the food and coffee were awesome. Definitely will recommend Gather 256 to all. To me it's the best coffee/cafe in York! Thank you to Tyler. Sarah Molly, and Nina (hopefully I have everyone that was there Sunday afternoon) for being so awesome on our first time there. It definitely will be our special stop in York!”

Always giving out quality food & serving with a smile 🫶🏼 Daily special - your choice of sub, fries & a drink for $11.99 (we order on the slice app) Subs are always delicious and consistent every single time. We frequently buy the cheesesteaks and Italian subs, 10/10 🤤 Ventured out just recently and grabbed a salad from them & it’s so good!! I got a Caeser salad, added chicken and onion. & it’s incredible!! Absolutely worth the money 🫶🏼 & Honorable mention of my favorite pizza to get from them - the Big Mac pizza. “I recently had Rise Bake Shop make specialty cookies for an event. The cookies involved several different techniques and they turned out beautifully. Not only were they exactly what I had in mind, but they were delicious which isn't always the case for specialty cookies. I must also call out their customer service for being exceptional. This is a wonderful places to do business and to get your baked goods.”

“We visited Bullies Saturday evening, 4/9. For starters I had the mussels. Absolutely delicious. I'd go back just for them. My wife had bacon wrapped scallops. They were really good, also. For entrees I had the Kona tenderloin steak. It was perfectly cooked and fork tender. My only issue, it came out barely luke warm. Same for my French fries. I'd call them cold. The roasted brussel sprouts, which I was really anticipating, were tasty, but all but burned and only luke warm. Though I should have said something to the server, I didn't. My bad. My wife's meal, beef tenderloin tips, were perfectly cooked, hot and fork tender, with mushroom and onion gravy. They were on a bed of rice. Dessert was creme brulee and NY cheesecake. Both were very good. I was disappointed with the cheesecake slice, being about half the size of what I consider a normal sized slice. All in all, a tasty meal. I'd return, but in the future insist on a HOT meal, not luke warm.”
