“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!”

Go on a weekday if you can they’re super busy on the weekends but wonderful wonderful food!!!!”

“Went on a busy Friday night but hostess was able to accommodate myself and two daughters. I was in a rush and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service by the wait staff and kitchen. Everyone was pleasant, food was excellent (kids had burgers and fries and I had the chicken sandwich). Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!”

I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

The coffee shop was immaculately clean, the staff was so friendly and efficient and most importantly the food and coffee were awesome. Definitely will recommend Gather 256 to all. To me it's the best coffee/cafe in York! Thank you to Tyler. Sarah Molly, and Nina (hopefully I have everyone that was there Sunday afternoon) for being so awesome on our first time there. More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. The girl on the phone said bring it with me. So I did. I went to pick it up; gave her the coupon and she looked at her coworker and showed it to him and she said I don't think we're taking this right now. So I told her it's from the menu I had at home and her response was "we go through phases of when we take them." Didn't even bother to ask management. Now there was no expiration date on it mind you and no one said that on the phone. So what started out as a 17.00 order was now 27.00. Sometimes you have to go above and beyond to avoid these types of reviews. GREAT customer service would have been easily accepting YOUR own coupon. If you go through "phases" don't print the coupon bc the consumer doesn't know when your phases take place. This could've easily been a 4 or 5 star. The food tastes great but the "phases" comment left me floored.”

“I love Kelly Inn From the Owners to the staff. They remember what your food order are as well as your drink and treat you like family. I always dine alone and they made sure I was comfortable and checked on me, now mind you I normally get the jumbo crabs and thier Neptune pasta platter which is filled with huge shrimps and real scallops so I have plenty to eat, even with that they stop and check on me. I have to travel 30 minutes to get there but it so worth it and if you haven't had their Cosmo its so delicious thank you from the bottom of my heart I truly enjoy my visits with you”

“The best coffee shop I have been to. I just traveled to Delaware to go to a coffee shop and part and even still can’t find better coffee than what they have! The staff is great! Walking in there just feels calm and refreshing! They keep the place clean! And even when they were closing the way day and I was having a meeting. They didn’t say anything just mopped around us until we eventually noticed! That was our bad! But I’ve never had a better review and I recommend their coffee to everyone I know!”

“The Cove has been one of our top 3 restaurants for years. No doubt I would still recommend them to anyone BUT we were there on Friday and I was SO disappointed. They changed their fries! They used to be so crispy and good, double fried (I'm guessing) in peanut oil. Now they're just ordinary. I'm not generally a big fan of fries, but I loved theirs. I so hope they bring them back! ❤️”

We were seated immediately and our server Garrett oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin. He was fantastic and every meaning of the word he was polite he was funny. He was happy. He was knowledgeable. He was the sweetest person I have ever met in my life and I’ve met a lot of people. More people who own restaurants should have servers like Garrett the compassion inside this person is off the chart he was the sweetest person you’ve ever wanna meet in your life. He knew that menu like nobody’s business. Which in a lot of restaurants, you’re lucky if one of the servers knows what’s on the menu let alone know what it’s about not Garrett. He knew everything and if he didn’t have the answer, he found the answer with Greg the owner who I must say was just as nice and polite and knowledgeable as Garrett. If you wanna try somewhere new and you’ve never been here, you have to try this place. I am telling everybody about this restaurant. The food was phenomenal . We have not one complaint from the front door to the server to our food and out the door again. My husband and I had such a fantastic time here we want Garrett as our server from this point on nobody else I know that probably sounds critical but when you get a good server, that’s who you want every time you go back Garrett was efficient. He was fast. He could walk by your table and grab the dishes without even looking at you. He was that fast. He always checked on us even if it was just for a napkin he’s that good Thank you again Garrett and Greg, the owner for making our day wonderful Thank you for an awesome time Bill and Debbie from Florida”

Went outta our way to get seafood for a nice dinner and they had the Jumbo Snow Crab Legs on sale for $9.99 a pound...My husband went and wanted to get 2lbs for him and I ...he got there and the were only selling them in 4lb bags!!! No where in the ad did it state sold in 4lb bags.It said$9.99 a pound!!! My husband tried to ask them we only wanted 2lbs but they said this all they have!!! So they try and get you there with falsely advertising all other items stated sold In whatever lbs but not those...I called and talked to someone and he totally was incompetent of what I was trying to say to him....won't be going there again as they seem to try and dip in your wallet for $ and don't stand by their false advertising”

We waited for 10 minutes while our table was assigned. Perfect table on the terrace facing the 18th hole. Sarah our hostess from Penn state was a joy to get to know. We all ordered from the huge menu selection and couldnt decide what to order. We saw The table next to us and the presentation looked amazing. We finally ordered steaks and salmon as our meal with delicious drinks. Perfect Saturday night at a great venue in York Pa. Keep up the great work Shaun Conway and your team. We will be back. “I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.”
