“I recently dined at this location and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The server, Julie, was wonderful. Attentive and informative, while being unobtrusive. The ribs and baked beans were quite good. The baked beans had huge tender pieces of pork in them. I kind of wish I had ordered a plate of those! The little things, like refilling water and providing extra napkins and wipes, were attended to without interrupting the table. We had great service. Sometimes, even with a good meal, the service can make it a not-so-good experience. Prices have gone up since the last time I was here, but I left feeling as though I got my money’s worth. This was just a nice meal out.”

“Found this place while in town for a gymnastics meet. Great place, nice atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Great selection of beers on tap, IPAS, stouts, sours, lots of choices.And the food was wonderful. Started with cheese curds and a Flatbread, then the Nashville (kinda) Hpt Chicken Sandwich. One of three best I've had, perfectly cooked, crispy, and hot but overall a well balanced flavor.”
“The Roosevelt is known for fine dining. But they also happen to have one of the best burgers you could ever experience. By far the best in york but honestly it's in competition with the best anywhere you go. The meat they use is just perfect and the bun is fluffy and amazing. Every bits is like...damn that's good...”

“My daughter found this coffee shop online and we decided to give it a try and I am so glad that we did. The owner is absolutely fantastic. She has such a wonderful, bubbly and outgoing personality. The muffins are wonderful. I'm sure everything else as far as food is amazing as well. My daughter and I both got a latte iced and it was probably one of the best lattes I've ever had. The espresso that she uses is so smooth. The ice latte was not overbearing in flavor. It was absolutely perfect! It was so good I came back the following day and will continue to come back anytime I need a coffee fix.Parking: Parking right out front large shared lot.”

“Mom's great home cooking with reasonable pricing. Usually busiest for breakfast so prepare to wait 20 min most days, especially weekends. If you want less noise, eat in the back dining area as the front tends to be louder from the kitchen and the seats are smaller and closer together.”

“This was a new place to me since this wasn't here before I moved away. I asked someone walking by (I thought they was walking by) if they ever had it and if it was any good. They raved about it so I decided to try it. Was pricier then I was expecting but the all of the workers was wonderful. I had a half cheesesteak hoagie combo minus green peppers with mozzarella cheese instead of american. The fries was nice and crisp but not too crisp and they was not too salty. Which was refreshing because i don't like them too salty. I also ordered a side of scramble eggs. While I was gone the only way I could have a cheesesteak is if I made it. So it was refreshing to not have to make it myself. I was beyond happy with the food and service I even requested to speak to their cook and I promised it was nothing bad. I had to give my praise. Everyone was so wonderful and welcomed everyone. However they tend to close early or so I have noticed when I tried to go back again. I highly recommend this place and I will be definitely be going back. They do accommodate ppl if they need special accommodations without even batting an eye and not look at you any differently so don't be worried if you have to ask. Diningroom and bathroom is kept extremely clean. “Came to have breakfast with my daughter. Very nice inside! Somewhat small for how many people visit at a time. They had 3 ladies working and they were Working hard and so friendly! The place is very clean and welcoming. The bathrooms are very clean and pretty. I had the avocado toast, which for $11 was worth it. Everything was fresh and clean. The bread had a buttery taste. My daughter wanted a chocolate muffin which she ate it all lol and we ordered sugar toast. Which was yummy ! I ordered a mint chocolate matcha which we both enjoyed ! Would definitely visit again !”

“Nama Sushi had quickly grown to be my favorite place to get sushi in York. The service is great because they get to know their customers and they will remember you. The sushi they sell is high-quality and the option for rolls is so plentiful that I never know which one to get. If you are new, I recommend trying their Ocean Roll, it is simply amazing and I knew it would be my favorite roll, since I took my first bite. I can't wait to go back to Nama Sushi and I look forward to trying something new each time.”

There's also board games you can choose from the shelf to play and overall has a great atmosphere. The lighting in the bathroom is also amazing for picture according to my friends haha. It's a little expensive, but definitely the best place for boba that I know of around this area!”

We went out since it’s been a long week. We had a big emergency earlier in the week being in the ER with our daughter. We had mentioned it to our waiter Denis while having conversation. When he brought our to-go order he made sure to include a little note. This tiny gesture meant so much and something that will brighten my daughters week. “Stopped in last weekend late afternoon. Really wanted to sample some Portuguese cuisine. I will preface this by saying I have no frame of reference. This place is conveniently located downtown right on W Market. The menu had several tempting items but I decided to try the red snapper with mixed veggie and potato. I sat at the bar so I could watch the cook carefully attending to the fish in the broiler with care. The potatoes were a perfect texture I did not see if they were boiled but very sensitive to the fork without being a full on mash. What a great dish! The meals also come with warm bread and olives! If you enjoy olives as much as I do this is definitely a treat! Who needs olive oil with the bread when you have the actual olives. I also had to try the "sawdust" dessert item. It's a creamy vanilla wafer like concoction. I take my coffee black so it made for the perfect dairy sweetener. I would definitely return to try some of the other menu items.”

“Some people think of Denny's as a place you end up when you can't choose. I must say I'm glad I actually chose this Denny's. The dish I ordered was spicy as advertised and so packed with flavor it was amazing. It was a huge portion and I took some home. All three of us enjoyed our food. The wait staff were all courteous and efficient. The dining room appeared to be a bit understaffed but the two on duty were running like mad to keep everyone happy. (She got a good tip for the hustle I witnessed even though I waited a little for some things.) All in all surprisingly great food and good service. I really recommend this York location in particular.”

“The first Brewery I was ever at way back in the day. Still one of my favorites to grab a beer or two. If I'm not mistaken one of the first in York, PA if not the first. Pregamed here with my brother before my bachelor party, turns out my relationship with this place was stronger than my marriage. Anyway, great place to stop for a few before catching a York Revolution game across the street. They don't have a kitchen but they do team up with food trucks at times in the parking lot. Great selection of merch available. The owners are some of the nicest guys around. Some of the tastiest beers around.”
“I usually order through their website for pickup, almost always ready on time and mostly accurate. The one time it wasn't accurate, they resolved right away. I usually order a poké bowl and a poké burrito (its just a huge, uncut sushi roll and I love it). The music they play is sometimes loud but kinda catchy, usually East Asian Pop or EDM, so I don't mind it while I'm waiting in line to check out and get my food. I rarely have to wait long. Usually I see just the two owners working, but I think they hired a third person to help them out, and I think it's working well for them!”

“I placed my order through the app Tuesday and scheduled for pickup on Wednesday for 530 pm when I arrived and let them know I'm here they said the molton cookie would be another 10 minutes and she could make me the chocolate cookie with the strawberry cream cheese icing I was fine with that I said I would rather know that the cookies are fresh and not sitting and stale like my experience with Taylor Chip cookies over the weekend they said you just heat them up to be ooey-gooey I dont like my cookies stale or heatedx up to be fresh with tat being said, I was happy with the girl that waited on me was friendly, helpful she assured me that cookies were made fresh and they were making more cookies when I went back to pick them up after doing some shopping at Hobby Lobby. We LOVED that our server pointed out a special that saved us money and everyone is so genuinely friendly and helpful! We will come back for sure! We ordered the volcano roll (my favorite) the Hawaiian roll, Christmas roll and the valentines roll. Our meal came with an appetizer and soup. We got the veggie dumplings and miso soup, both were delicious and our kids got sake don entrees. Everything was spectacular!!!”

“I've been coming here since I was a kid. I grew up a few blocks away and my friends and I made almost daily trips down during the summer for snows. Nothing better on a hot day, nothing! Now I live a couple towns away but my daughter and I make it here as much as we can every summer. Can't beat the prices and the quality. We usually just get snows but every once in a while we get dinner as well, hint hint you get a free snow with every meal purchase. Get the Purple Cow or Tigers Blood.”

“Its been a little while since weve been in. This time I had the special beef tacos with both hard and soft shell. Even without lettuce and tomato, they were very full with meat, beans and cheese. My boyfriend and I both had a jumbo margarita and it was excellent and worthbit for the size. We also split the fried ice cream. I wish they would have kept the old version of their salsa though. It used to be chunky but pureed, smoother and fresh. This time it seemed almost like tomato paste mixed with cilantro and taco sauce. It looked exactly like those things combined. Overall though, everything was delicious and the place was hoppin by 7pm. With tip, 3 veef tacos for me, a combo plate for my boyfriend, 2 jumbo margaritas, 2 normal sized margaritas, chips, salsa and fried Ice cream, It came to about $80.”

The zapple cookies, spinach pinwheels, garlic knots, cupcakes, cheesecake, & cookie sandwiches are all to die for. The texture on some items is a little different so if you go in close-minded you may be disappointed. For instance, the cupcakes are dense, not fluffy, but very moist and absolutely delicious. Same with the garlic knots. I’m pre-diabetic with PCOS so I do my best to stay away from added sugars, carbs, & sometimes dairy whenever I can as it’s supposedly inflammatory to those with the condition. I really really appreciate that I can come here and pick whatever I want since it’s all sugar free. My daughter also has abdominal migraines so we have to monitor her sugar intake. It sucks to have to say no to almost every treat but having SNS locally I’m able to swing in & pick her up something delicious. She loves the chocolate chip cookie sandwiches; they’re truly amazing so I understand why! I do wish they’d give some protein brownies a whirl. I bet they’d knock them out of the park! The Pepperoni had a good crisp to it. The Honey was well balanced between sweet and spicy. At $3.40 for the slice, the price point was just right.To say I am impressed is an understatement. Very comfy cozy inside, lots of seating available inside and there is also “private” outside seating just meaning it is sectioned off with some nice foliage to block out the noisy street and provides a more private, intimate setting without feeling you’re eating in the street. The drinks are great. The bar tenders are great. So far everything off of their menu that I’ve tried has also been great, but my most favorite thing to get is the brick oven pizza. I haven’t found a decent alternative in York, PA for brick oven pizza the way I like it. Other places serve it, but they are usually too soggy or have poor crust. If you happen to know of any other great and local brick oven places, please let me know! I like the open kitchen. Makes the place feel bigger and more “homey” to see your chefs back there creating your dishes! On this particular day we shared their charcuterie board, hot honey heart pepperoni pizza, home made tomato soup, which is fire roasted right there in the brick oven, and the duck confiet grilled cheese. The grilled cheese honestly had a like too much blue cheese and not enough duck but I still give everything a 10/10 because flavor was on point.Parking: Depending on the time of day, you may have to pay for street parking or you may even have to park in one of the garages of you don’t want to keep driving around in circles until something opens up.”

“Some people think of Denny's as a place you end up when you can't choose. I must say I'm glad I actually chose this Denny's. The dish I ordered was spicy as advertised and so packed with flavor it was amazing. It was a huge portion and I took some home. All three of us enjoyed our food. The wait staff were all courteous and efficient. The dining room appeared to be a bit understaffed but the two on duty were running like mad to keep everyone happy. (She got a good tip for the hustle I witnessed even though I waited a little for some things.) All in all surprisingly great food and good service.
