“This place hits all the right notes! Food,service and beautiful place. I love all of the blendings and combinations of spices. The Chai was so good. Oh and the desserts are wonderful. I think it's very reasonably priced. My daughter and son- in-law took me here for my birthday as they know I really like this place! Hamir even had a special candle for me! Classy man and classy place!”

“Today, had lunch at The First Post in York, PA. The place is nice and spacious, located on East Market Street. Our party of four shared a ravioli appetizer and had French Onion soup. Both were delicious!!! Easily the best French Onion soup I've eaten!!! For lunch, we each had something different. My Aunt had Salmon Salad. My wife had The Post Steak Sandwich with fries. Our son had the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo. I settled for.the Fish & Chips!! Each of us loved our meals - taking at least half home!! The portions were enormous!!! To wrap up, we decided on some dessert. My Aunt and wife had the Creme Brulee. My son and I had the Chocolate Reese Cake Tort. So good!!!! Service was phenomenal!! If in the York, PA area, you MUST stop in and eat up!!!”

“A bit disappointed. Love the space but my meal was nothing special. Mixed vegetables were good but only warm. Baked potato was warmer, but not hot. The star of the show would have been the crab cake but there was nothing special there. The menu says jumbo lump crab. If there was lump crab meat, then they shredded it up to make the cake. I could get a crab cake that good or better almost anywhere. We've had good food here in the past, but unfortunately this meal was nothing special.”

It's tucked away on the back parking lot located off of Ryan Run Road , just off of Stillmeadow Ln. Definitely a place to try.”

The coffee shop was immaculately clean, the staff was so friendly and efficient and most importantly the food and coffee were awesome. Definitely will recommend Gather 256 to all. To me it's the best coffee/cafe in York! Thank you to Tyler. Sarah Molly, and Nina (hopefully I have everyone that was there Sunday afternoon) for being so awesome on our first time there. It definitely will be our special stop in York!”

“I’m no fan of sushi, so I can’t speak to that, but I LOVE hot-and-sour soup. I’ve been disappointed with the soup at several other restaurants in the area, but Wild Ginger’s version of it is PHENOMENAL! Loaded with wonderful stock and truly having a sour taste with a subtle kick of spicy. (It’s surprising how many restaurants do not have both.) I could have made a meal out of it. Will definitely be back.”

“The best coffee shop I have been to. I just traveled to Delaware to go to a coffee shop and part and even still can’t find better coffee than what they have! The staff is great! Walking in there just feels calm and refreshing! They keep the place clean! And even when they were closing the way day and I was having a meeting. They didn’t say anything just mopped around us until we eventually noticed! That was our bad! But I’ve never had a better review and I recommend their coffee to everyone I know!”

“We went on 2/8/25. Staying at the Hampton inn for a dance comp. Our waiter, unfortunately l, didn’t catch his name was absolutely AMAZING! More people kept getting added to our party, he, without hesitation, added more tables and chairs. He took our orders and separated the checks without us even asking. He just really went above and beyond and was amazing! I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Thank you again! Food and drinks were 10/10!”

“I have been ordering egg plant parm with side of spaghetti since Olive Gard opened in York. Best I have ever had until this evening. The egg plant was mushy and drown in sauce, so disappointed. I was with my family we were there celebrating my 83rd b-day. If I had been there with a small group I would have sent the egg plant back to the kitchen. Please see what is going on with my favorite. Service was out standing.”

“So hubby and I ate here today…. As soon as you walk in the smell is incredible and the employees behind the wall greet you very nicely. We were seated immediately and our server Garrett oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin. He was fantastic and every meaning of the word he was polite he was funny. He was happy. He was knowledgeable. He was the sweetest person I have ever met in my life and I’ve met a lot of people. More people who own restaurants should have servers like Garrett the compassion inside this person is off the chart he was the sweetest person you’ve ever wanna meet in your life. He knew that menu like nobody’s business. Which in a lot of restaurants, you’re lucky if one of the servers knows what’s on the menu let alone know what it’s about not Garrett. He knew everything and if he didn’t have the answer, he found the answer with Greg the owner who I must say was just as nice and polite and knowledgeable as Garrett. If you wanna try somewhere new and you’ve never been here, you have to try this place. I am telling everybody about this restaurant. The food was phenomenal . We have not one complaint from the front door to the server to our food and out the door again. My husband and I had such a fantastic time here we want Garrett as our server from this point on nobody else I know that probably sounds critical but when you get a good server, that’s who you want every time you go back Garrett was efficient. He was fast. He could walk by your table and grab the dishes without even looking at you. He was that fast. He always checked on us even if it was just for a napkin he’s that good Thank you again Garrett and Greg, the owner for making our day wonderful Thank you for an awesome time Bill and Debbie from Florida”

Had a long drive home and we arrived at 7:15 and left by 7:50 with full bellies, fun atmosphere, great staff… which was ideal! Highly recommended!”

“So I called in a pick up order of a pizza and mozzarella sticks. When I called I mentioned I had a coupon (from their menu) for a large cheese pizza for 10.99. The girl on the phone said bring it with me. So I did. I went to pick it up; gave her the coupon and she looked at her coworker and showed it to him and she said I don't think we're taking this right now. So I told her it's from the menu I had at home and her response was "we go through phases of when we take them." Didn't even bother to ask management. Now there was no expiration date on it mind you and no one said that on the phone. So what started out as a 17.00 order was now 27.00. Sometimes you have to go above and beyond to avoid these types of reviews. GREAT customer service would have been easily accepting YOUR own coupon. If you go through "phases" don't print the coupon bc the consumer doesn't know when your phases take place. This could've easily been a 4 or 5 star. The food tastes great but the "phases" comment left me floored.”

Sweet crepe: - First and foremost the crepe was sweet, fresh, and absolutely delicious. - It is advertised as a sweet crepe and it is no lie! The cream cheese, plus the fresh sliced strawberries, and sugary crunch texture and whip cream was very sweet and flavorful- which I love. -Frsshly made to order which adds a bonus to the customer experience. -Crepes are of course thin, so the overflowing filling I can see being too much for some people who can't handle a large portion of sweetness. -Included all the ingredients mentioned on the menu and did not disappoint. Custom breakfast sandwich: -Made fresh to order which I, again, absolutely love. However, because the crepe took longer the sandwich was put into the microwave to preserve and keep it warm. Thus, by the time I sat down and started eating, the crepe was fresh and warm but the sandwich was already cool. Including the time of the crepe being cooked, me receiving the food to then search for a seat in the market made the sandwich quite cold by the time I got to eat it. However, you can tell that they are doing their best to accommodate and find a better structure that keeps the food fresh and customer experience interactive and lively. -My sandwich had ham, egg and cheese- a classic you could say. Despite it being a little cold it was still absolutely delicious! The ingredients aren't of the highest quality, however, I personally like knowing what is in my food and be able to watch them make the food compared to fast food establishments. With the strawberry banana smoothie it was absolutely delicious! I love that I can tell that the strawberries are fresh and good quality. There was no items without flavor, effort and love from this vendor. Overall my experience with the employees was absolutely amazing and fun! They're very kind, energetic and lively. I didn't feel like a weirdo for singing and dancing, instead, it was encouraged by the employees. It was a wonderful atmosphere and experience! I will definitely be returning and I wish this business to forever prosper.”

“I've been here a few times and have ordered out a few dozen times. The food here is good if not very good in my opinion. The Cheese Steak is very good especially on their Turnover bread. The only complaint is a couple of times I felt they under performed on the amount of cheese steak and toppings. The Fries are very good and I've always got nice hot salted just right. The Hamburgers are very good and big enough with fries to fill you up. The pizzas Ive had have been great as well and my girlfriend likes the Chicken, Bacon Ranch one the most and she is not a pizza person. Being from the Philippines she is more of fish eater than American Food. She also like their Chicken Cheese Steak again she doesn't eat red meat at all because in the Philippines she never really ate it, it was to expensive. They have a great selection of beer too, if you go to pick up a little early you can drink something while waiting. Long review but I wanted to get one out since I have always liked my food from there so far. I saw a few really bad reviews about the owner which shouldn't have much to do with their food. Order pickup and you won't even know who the owner is. People get drunk in bars and get kicked out then give a bad review since they evidently did something to draw the owners attention.”

“One of the newest pizza/boli shops in York is one of it's most unique. It's tucked back in the ever changing Olde Tollgate Village. The layout and decor is warm and inviting once you get past the construction in the lobby.

We tried a plain cheese pizza and a chicken parmeson stromboli. The dough/crust is pillowy and fluffy with firmness on the outside similar to a focaccia. The first thing to hit is the size. This is a huge stromboli with a perfect amount of filling that comes with two containers of sauce. So many places screw up the boli to sauce ratio. There is a parmesan herb mix sprinkled on the top which was great. Absolutely the best stromboli I have had in the entire York area.

The pizza was perfectly cheesy with a good amount of sauce. Most of the pizza was fantastic, however, there's a twist that while it looks amazing to have cheese overflow the crust it's not what you expect. Its a large amount of melted Asiago cheese which can be overpowering. The most popular pizzerias in all of New York typically sprinkle a little finely grated as a finisher before serving. The edge of the crust here is buried in it. The strong flavor is not for everyone.

If I could give them 4.5 stars I would. I'm going with 4 until they dial back the asiago.”

“The cashier was very polite, and welcoming. This was my first time trying KKC, and when I say 10/10. The biscuit was so soft and warm, and I mean fresh out the oven warm. The wedges were everything, and the tenders…. real chicken breast meat. Everything was hot and fresh. No wait in and out, even got gas.”
