Scotty Dog's Lounge & Grill is a newly renovated restaurant known for its good food and welcoming atmosphere. Many visitors have praised the quality of the dishes, with highlights including the crab chowder, glazed ribs, and the American burger, which some have called the best they've had in years. The toasted cheese crabcake sandwich and Mac and cheese bombs are also popular choices among diners.
The service at Scotty Dog's is described as enthusiastic, positive, and accommodating, with servers often attentive to guests' needs. The restaurant can cater to larger groups, making it a suitable spot for gatherings. Although the food is highly regarded, some reviews mention that portion sizes may not align with the prices, which are seen as a bit high for the amount served. Visitors are advised to come with moderate hunger levels, as satisfying larger appetites can lead to a hefty bill.
Overall, Scotty Dog's Lounge & Grill is recommended for those looking for a pleasant dining experience in York, Pennsylvania, especially for those who enjoy flavorful dishes and a friendly atmosphere. However, it’s wise to be mindful of the pricing and portion sizes when planning a visit.
